Is Mr T still around? Only seen his son lately and they just hire drivers anyway so one is at the mercy of the one behind the wheel.

For some reason some hotels and money changers (t- cheques) have asked for my departure card lately. Don't recall that ever happening before.

just got in last night. Went to the desk and the girl said 1500.She told me that my 1000 offer was unacceptable and told me to speak to the drivers myself. 5 min later I was in a newish car and the driver was maybe the best courteous and safe driver I've ever experienced anywhere. He even had his mirrors adjusted correctly. 1100 all in including tolls and tip.

the sea breeze should take care of the flying insects. No?

Was chatting with a restaurateur in Angeles about imported meat. He was telling me that most meat isn't aged properly as it looses weight during the process and therefore is more expensive and many restaurants wont buy it at the higher price, He had quite a few different steaks on offer and the most expensive ones were from Italy and his cheaper offerings were from Aus. I ordered his Aussie T bone and it was good but not great.

Do you spend many nights alone in Pattaya?
steamer replied to Butch's topic in General Discussion about Pattaya
usually have an overnight-er two out of three nights -
CP flights MNL CEB have always been full whenever I took them (mostly Filipino's), their flights BKK MNL have had plenty of empty seats. Dunno if they can make money on this new route.

Got my computer running again...was the power supply. Anyhow. here is the pic (yeah it's mr T not mr Toom) pic is of a couple of friends right before we took one of mr T's cars to BKK, We were hoping to visit Tulip massage in BKK before our flight home but the fookin' car broke down on the highway and ruined our plans. Had to flag down another car and then just headed straight to the airport instead, This was the second outa three bad experiences with mr T's cars/drivers.

Is mr T still running the place? Have only seen his son lately and of course they just hire out their drivers (with varying degrees of quality.)

rented that same click from Pool Hustler. Good experience all round and I prefer the Honda's to the Yamaha's -
had a few decent meals at the Golf Club. They do have this weird obsession with raw onion as a garnish tho.
-
I should try the Robin's nest as ALL the other places you mentioned are shite.

was waiting for some back up before jumping in and am pleasantly surprised that it comes from a Briton.

Taking a Thai Girl out for a Lunch date in Pattaya
steamer replied to Grahamxxx's topic in Restaurants and food
I repeat, I would often ask them where they wanted to go and it was only western food once. If I did insist on my choice of a western place they always ordered Thai if there was Thai food available. Never seen a gaggle of girls having steaks at places like the P&W. -
Taking a Thai Girl out for a Lunch date in Pattaya
steamer replied to Grahamxxx's topic in Restaurants and food
often I ask my "date" where they'd like to go and only one has ever suggested fallang food. It's always Thai, Sushi or Mk. Never a hamburger etc at places like the Beer Garden, and if you do take them there they always order off the Thai menu. edit.... If you take them to MK not only will she enjoy the food she will cook it for you and take care of you which she'll also enjoy. -

MK restaurants. she won't be impressed by fallang food. -
Rather be a street sweeper than deal with the general public. Servers etc are under appreciated and often times the remuneration is rather low.

How does it differ from FF's private browsing? I haven't used either.
