  1. I belong to three different forums using IP software. Had issues 90% of the time (yeah, not 100% ) with 2 of them (this one and the Vancouver Canuck's board) and never ever had an issue with PI@NIGHT. I could post and make links on PI@N with Google but now that I'm using FF I can post here and on the Canuck's board np. Dunno if PI@NIGHT has been effected tho.
  2. well, just quoted you np usualy have to do "multiquote" then go to more reply options then post. could never ever do links nor emotocons either. http://www.peevish.co.uk/slang/ Sometimes Chrome is better and sometimes Firefox is better. It seems like both eventually develop glitches. I use both and am using Chrome as my default right now. It's a sure bet that Chrome will have problems and I'll be back using Firefox. Both are great until the gremlins show up. Sam, download a little program called TDSS Killer. It is from Kaspersky. It will remove that major pain in the ass Babylon. I complained to BitDefender that their antivirus cannot find or remove Babylon and was told that they don't consider it a threat. I asked them to re-consider that position.
  3. Got tired of not being able to do things like quotes and copy and paste on this and other forums using Google Chrome. I'm on Firefox now and no issues as yet but I need to learn how to do some things on it.
  4. Always preferred dealing with the woman there (wife?) over the man.
  5. love having a girl that finds it cold in the loom. Nothin' like snugglin' with a LBFM.
  6. 555555555555 not like you didn't get any advice from your friends mr oddball. oh well, got that ship turned around now me thinks.
  7. have had more of an issue with the padding on chairs than bill padding personally.
  8. Pizza Big looks great. Worth a try.
  9. wasn't too happy about water from a jug rather than sealed bottles either.
  10. Doesn't CP also have a bad track record re flight cancellations?
  11. must've been shite if the Queen Vic was an upgrade huh?
  12. Tried to buy "stuff" in BKK in 2007 my buddy and I were turned down at quite a few places.
  13. oh.. non specific. IC. Was trying to think more along the lines of trouble and strife.
  14. Flew with Tiger once and back to AC from Swampy. They couldn't even pull up on their own system that I had a return flight out of the Phils. They wanted to charge for drinking water and wouldn't let me move from a middle seat to an unoccupied aisle seat. They were on time, have better flight times (to AC) and are otherwise on par if not better than Cebu Pacific.
  15. Now how exactly does FNC become a nosebag?
  16. knock yourself out.
  17. I cant even remember. oddball will have to remind me. edit Is that the guesthouse that I left after one night (paid for 2) because the bed was shite and they didn't clean my loom?
  18. I'm going there too I'll give ya a rundown of the place when I can
  19. flew Cathay once and thought they were the best I'd experienced in economy. They were near empty and I was offered a premium economy/business class dinner as they had extra but sadly it was just a fancier shite AFAIC.
  20. well, what seems more like a false price? $8.99 plus tip and tax (15% plus 13 % = $11.51) or $11.99 all in? When they round up there is always a bit extra in it for the business. You'll pay more and not have the option to not tip if the service was poor or if you ate at a place where no tip is expected (takeaway, McDonald's etc.) To me, the tax and tip excluded price leaves you with a few extra pesos in your pocket and the option to leave more or none at all.
  21. Ha, Try to buy a car for the advertised price. If it says 20,000 on the window you'd be lucky to walk away with it for less than 24,000 here in Toronto. Edit if you see a meal here for say 10 bucks by the time you add tax, tip, one beer and a further tax on alcohol on top of that you'll be at 20 bucks. You just learn how it works.
  22. I'd rather have an 8 buck lunch and have the option to leave a 2 dollar tip than pay 10 bucks for that same lunch and not have the option. Those who think tipping is evil seem to all live in places that pay way more for the same thing than those who have a tipping optional culture. Even if you tipped your pilot and everyone else you came across your 5000 dollar holiday might cost you 500 more. I figure just in gratuities I might leave a hundred bucks to wait staff etc in a month so maybe 2% of my holiday budget.
  23. kinda agree overall but some prices just seem out of wack for example. More expensive to rent in Chicago (+156%) but cheaper to purchase (-22%)
  24. Nothing wrong with planning ahead on a fixed income. On the other hand, car salesmen love to tell you your new car will be "only" 500 a month rather than the 30,000 full price. Why? because you'll spend more than what you think you will.
  25. I think the cheapest half litre of beer here in Canada is about 60 baht. Even more if they sold it @ a 7/11 but they can't sell booze here.
