  1. same situation for AUD. My last trip I got 32 on the ground. Current bulk rates are 26.6, on the ground must be 24 or less
  2. hahahahahahahahaahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahhahhahahahahahahahhaahahahahahahahahahahhahahahhaha
  3. omg that girl seems like a boring date.
  4. Anecdotes are reporting staggering declines in russkies abroad.Official figures are yet to kick in. No doubt patts will be affected. High season may well be shorter and not quite high.
  5. Looks excellent. Bit of a bargain @ 600bt. Thanks for posting.
  6. Rhino T you really bring something special to this site. You deserve more recognition for your posts.
  7. there is little doubt that someone with access to the key ( front desk ) has stolen your cash. There are too many individual notes missing for you to have counted wrong. You won't get your money back but on your return visit I would have got the police involved.I would have requested the police question the front of house with me present.Even if you could not get this to happen I would tell the front desk that you have filed a report to the police and they will be questioned. I have actually done this different hotel- in phuket about 8 years ago , once discovering $200 missing from the sa
  8. the strategy is they get you in with the "no fees", then after a while, when they have enough cards out there to make it worthwhile they introduce a xxx fee per month/per use/per whatever to strip out the accounts. They already have your $$ on the non refundable card.
  9. perhaps they can contact the chinese and ask for tips on how to totally eliminate free speech.
  10. I paid 900bt for a clean and check up. Blood came out when I swilled with that weird tasting solution they give you, so they must have done something for the extra 400.
  11. christalfuckimighty- did you check out where Sydney is- yup top of the list.
  12. Not that I was ever involved but does this mean the end of the "visa run" industry?
  13. I've flown Air China twice. Below average food, non english speaking staff for the most part.Fucking chinese endless yakking and walking the aisles. The odd wailing kid.No inflight entertainment from memory. Pretty much like any low cost airline I guess. @ 1200 in savings I would say the price is fair for what your getting. Only thing is some flights go via Bejing or was it guangzao? Check layovers before booking.
  14. I think he is back in Oz playing full forward for Collingwood this week.
  15. You Indians need a culture change. One of my good mates here is a Malay indian,so I have met many indians and find them often delightful. He once told me 50% of Indians are good and 50% are total rubbish/assholes. I am selling a car here at the moment, 4 Indians have called, everyone of them opened with"what is the lowest price you can give me?" One was so aggressive on the phone I told him-" look I refuse to deal with you, bye." I was involved with a business some years ago that offered trade services. Many providers refused to deal with indians. In the end we refused to quote jobs f
  16. that was seriously hilarious. And so true, even if we don't want to admit it.
  17. I'm a big believer that the price of the flight is all important whilst sitting in front of the computer making the booking. Once sitting in the said plane it all becomes about comfort and flight times.Price drops down the list of importance. Flights these days seem to be becoming more and more about 'you get what you pay for" The first thing I look for is price, then flight times, connections layovers then airline. I 'm happy to pay for shorter flight times, no or short layovers and acceptable departure arrival times. Eg to leave at say 10am Sydney means I can get the t
  18. Thats the thing about placing your bets relying on chinese tourism. Its one in all in, one out- all out. They move en masse. Once they feel a place is too dangerous to go it may prove very difficult to re capture them in the short term. i know a chinese girl here who was very keen to travel to Eygpt. However in light of the violence issues she has canned that idea.I asked her when she may go after the trouble concludes. Her response- "maybe 10 years later, but probably never."
  19. yes its a huge achievement. Before the tournament started their "expert rating" was "partytime" In other words they were not there to play football because they were too useless, they were there to party. Another expert opinion bites the dust.
  20. It seems you will need to change your facebook status back to single.
  21. I dont see it as a huge issue as yet. In any case- do they have brown skin and take it in the ass? If that's a no then I don't see the competition.
  22. I agree there are great similarities to Greece and Thailand. Both countries are well know for having their women take it in the ass .
  23. No one likes to be ripped off, for 5 baht, 50 baht , 500 baht etc.Its a principle thing. But no amount of money is worth risking being seriously injured , or worse .Especially when you have control over the outcome. You did exactly the right thing- you can tell because you walked away unscathed. That's what counts. As Dungheap noted- you dont know his state of mind, tanked up or boosted on drugs- who knows? As far as some kind of petty revenge goes you can relax in the knowledge that Karma will get him sooner or later.Dishonesty does not go unpunished eventually.
