  1. Shouldn't be a problem anywhere. Guys that feel obliged to buy a drink when nothing apeals to them really need to grow a set. This only encourages shit bars to carry on as they are. If I were to sit and have a drink at every shit agogo in Pattaya, I'd be pissed before I found a decent one, lol.
  2. Hands up who's gone into FLB and left without buying a drink because there's no girls working?
  3. This has to be the most shit thread I've read for a very long time. Teelack, whatever way you look at it 240 dead is not a lot considering all the destruction. In the great scheme of things, who really gives a fuck?
  4. 1 day is enough. Never again for me.
  5. I have Nationwide and Santander cards here. I think I only used the Nationwide card once because of the high cost. I've used the Santander cards mostly but havn't been checking the charges online. I'll have a look and report back.
  6. Villa Market @ Avenue had stock when I was in Patts last month.
  7. Fat Loser Birds. Hey MM any chance of reducing my warning level? Pretty please?
  8. How about sticking the dog's paw up it's arse and then licking it clean for him? Would that be considered too kinky? Man's best friend and all that.
  9. Might be if it was actually on Walking Street What is all this crap about the Smoothies/Shakes? As long as you get a full glass of what you ordered who gives a fuck about any excess! Most Employees would consider the excess as a 'perk of the job.' As long as they're not deliberately making too much which would be considered theft. Obviously they have to make a slight excess for fear of underfilling the glass. Besides, only poofters drink shakes. Real men drink Bacardi Breezers
  10. No new washer required for the tap, yet
  11. I met him a few times when I stayed at Sky Top. I thought he was an Ausie. Told me he was a recovering Alcoholic. Very civil and obliging chap. Nothing too much trouble. R.I.P.
  12. I was gonna slam you on your first fund raising thread but held back because you were doing the right thing. Now you know better.
  13. They're fucking noisy too! Was sat at a beer bar on Second Road, right beside the push button for Pedestrians. They emit a sound similar to a car alarm for blind people I guess. Was still better than the music at Insomnia though.
  14. Just checked my DTAC balance. 76.20 Baht valid until May 24
  15. There was another party on last night when I went to Champagne. The music was VERY LOUD as you would expect from a sound system set up outside in the soi. I could hear it as I walked along soi Diana before actually turning into soi LK.
  16. A bargirl put some code into my DTAC SIM for me. It extended my expiration date by 5 months. 3o Baht deducted from the balance.
  17. I've stayed there before many years ago. It was guest friendly back then. Took a look at a couple of rooms earlier this year and they were very drab looking, in need of a paint job. I wouldn't book it without inspecting the room first.
  18. Sabai Lodge.......... rooms adjacent to the pool (soi 2) get infested by mozzies. They will come and spray the room if you ask but it's never convenient. It was enough of a problem for me to transfer hotels. No noise problems or safety issues walking to and fro. Grand Sole........ Have stayed there before and it was ok. Had a look in last year and the rooms were very shabby looking. Needed a make over. There used to be a massage parlour. They will come to your room if you prefer. I ended up banging her for 500 extra
  19. Fair enough but I still say you wouldn't hear noise from Witherspoons at the Rovers. Not even at 05.00.
