I used Nam for both the inbound and outbount trips to the airport. She was just terrific. A really nice person, a great car (new), speaks passable english, and, best of all a really safe driver. I felt completely comfortable with her at the wheel and not once did I feel uncomfortable. Which is more than I can say about the last driver I had from Mr. T. I hope she will be available for future trips.

Thanks to everyone who replied. I have written to Nam to see is she is available next Thursday. If she is unavailable, then I will opt for the recommendation from Gabor. I am appreciative to have all of these recommendations as I was quite concerned about the bad experience I had last year with Mr. T. I hope to never have to use Mr. T's service again.

On my last trip to Pattaya, I used Mr. T's car service for both incoming and outgoing transport to the airport. The outgoing trip was a nightmare. The driver was very unsafe and completely fell asleep three times during the trip. I finally got him to stop at the 7-11 and bought him a high energy drink and that helped. At least we made it to the airport without a serious accident. Does anyone know of a driver and/or car service that is safe and reliable? I am coming soon and would like to book with someone who is safe and drives a decent automobile. Thanks in advance.

I have used both Mr. T and Mr. Toom -- each have been reliable. My driver on this past visit (October) told me he works for both of them as well as two other services. He is generally busy most of the time, and accepts bookings from any of the four to keep fully booked.

Michael -- it was much fun being part of your adventure. The shopping trip was much fun and the visit to the orphanage was heartfelt. Thanks for including me. If you decide to do this in the future, please advise. If I am in Pattaya at the time, I pledge my support and assistance.

I agree, Dr. Aree at PIH would be my first choice. A big plus -- she's ealy to look at too -- beautiful.

I use Mr. Toom all the time -- six years, at least. Never a problem.
