  1. There are only 12 digits showing in the pic. The last 4 have been blurred.
  2. There's a DTAC shop on the Arrivals level - between Exit Doors 6 and 7 - that's open 24 hours.
  3. How do you spot a sponsor? Is there some telltale sign they have in common? Why ask if you know you're going to be uncomfortable with the answer? jaxxon's assessment is pretty accurate IMHO.
  4. What it says (said) in The Alien Working Act, B.E. 2521 (1978) is irrelevant. It was repealed by the current Act. I'm firmly on the side of the bar-owners such as MM and davethailand who comply with the law, and incur the considerable costs in doing so. Why should their livelihoods (and those of their staff) be jeapordised by farangs working illegally.
  5. N3RGT, 1. Open any sub-forum - Members' Bar, Trip Reports, Off-Topic etc, etc. 2. Scroll down to the bottom of the page. 3. You'll see a button to show you the filter options. Click it. 4. The filter options come up. Set the timeframe to Show All (or whatever period you want), check the Remember Filters option and click on the Go button.
  6. For nidnoy's info .... you didn't get to the punchline. We want Sepp replaced by Michel Platini .....
  7. .... and currently Frankel is rated (130) as good as Black Caviar - and both only enjoy their status as the current. highest rated horses as a result of Harbinger's unfortunate situation. The problem, if there is one, with the IFHA rankings (rather than ratings) is that it only relates to performances in the previous six-month period.
  8. I didn't miss anything so basic at all. Both Keane and Scholes were suspended for the 1999 final. Nicky Butt and Jesper Blomqvist ... not exactly legends in their own lunchtime.
  9. Agree about having few problems requesting biz class seats and, as you highlighted, BM's should be aware that the survey was specifically based on requests for two seats.
  10. Just helping out those that don't know the difference. A direct flight is determined by the flight number, not the aircraft. It doesn't matter if it has zero, one or two stops. Conversely, a connecting flight will have different flight numbers and could be on the same aircraft, particularly when connecting through, for example, the middle eastern hubs. Besides, in the context of this thread, all direct flights between London Heathrow and Bangkok are non-stop. Leave out the personal stuff.
  11. Direct means a through flight on the same flight number, not necessarily on the same aircraft. UA837/838 from DFW to BKK is a prime example. Change of aircraft is required in SFO in both directions. Much the same for UA881/882 from BOS to ICN which requires a change of aircraft in ORD.
  12. Good programme by CBS - and extra segments on 60 Minutes OT. CBS 60 minutes OT And a good joke for those guys who still think it's all a French conspiracy .... On his last trip to France, as part of their obsession with him he was arrested in his Paris Hotel room for being in possession of illegal substances banned in France > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Shampoo, Soap and Deodorant
  13. They're Benz Travel - just a different trading name.
  14. Doug, In other words, you made it up. Most guys on here have progressed to flight comparison websites - they don't spend two hours searching. That's what computers do. As to why 41k is a rip-off - on average, the price has probably increased by around 15% in the last 8 years. The cost in pounds is irrelevant - Baht is the unit of currency.
  15. You asked for an example of a real case - you got one.
  16. Quite clever. I've just given you "un point".
  17. There's a thread running about the Irish geezer at the moment. As for the use of nominees to control a company, even Pepsico has come a cropper recently.
  18. Considering the vehicle offered at that price is a Fortuner, it's a fairly decent deal, particularly if there are a couple of you with decent sized bags. A smaller "taxi" is offered at 1150 Baht. http://www.pukynovamirage.com/excuitive_car.html
  19. There's obviously a big hole somewhere in his story - he was even on the radio in Ireland complaining. He claimed on the phone-in that he had copies of the title deeds with his name on them, but they were fakes. That's stating the obvious. Scroll down to 4 May for his story. http://www.rte.ie/radio1/podcast/podcast_liveline.xml .
  20. They sure know how to insult folk ....
  21. Anytime! I wouldn't pay that amount for a 2 week stay, but for 3 or 4 nights in town it's nice to pamper yourself.
  22. If you're relying on EasyJet to get you to Amsterdam in the middle of December, it may also be 550 quid down the drain. Generally speaking, travel insurance only covers the international departure from UK i.e. the EasyJet flight to Amsterdam.
  23. Doug, You're going from the sublime to the ridiculous here, mate. To claim that flights at those all-inclusive prices, with all those airlines are available with "too many sites to list" is bordering on the riculous. Maybe you need to clear your cache because, as Brown 1950 pointed out, you seem to be pulling up results from a few years ago. Or maybe there's something you forgot to mention, like your daughter is 9 years old.
  24. Nobody accused BigD of anything prior to him mentioning Skytops himself. Besides he wouldn't mention blue sky unless it was to point out how little he paid for it. Are you all set for the 28th?
  25. LOL. You can't resist unignoring your ignore list. How sad is that! :clap1
