I was lucky enough to find that he had 6 days free when I had to move out of the Metropole. Not realising what 'peak season' meant I was struggling to find accomodation for the coming months and was recommended the Metro Apartments. My visit in person was met by friendly staff and I was shown a very decent / well equiped room on the first floor. I booked it straight away. My stay was a very pleasant one, reasonably priced drinks, free pool and no problems with bringing

A possible reason for the security could be that i know a few of the 'budget room' places around Soi LK Metro have been offering the facility of 'free wifi' ........ supplied by the Metropole, passwords and all. Still no reason to balls up the install so badly though.

Great place and understanding staff. I paid 10k deposit, but once I arrived they asked for the full months rental upfront. I found I could only withdraw 12k out of a cashpoint ..... bad news was I was pretty much spending this everyday! I asked if I could pay the 48k over the next week or so, but they went one better and said I could pay half in two weeks and the rest at the end. Absolutely, no complaints about the place or service. I've set our office up with cheapo Acer Laptops, mainly because i noticed a lot of clients using them and they never seem to have had any problems. Arrived this morning into BKK and had arranged an airport pickup at 0530 through Mr Toom. With my experience I'll certainly go along with others and say that I would definitely recommend the service. The plane was a little late and my bags must have taken 40 minutes to come through so all in all the driver had to wait almost an hour for me. No problem though, he was there, as promised. The journey to Pattaya was a smooth and comfortable one in a Volvo 760. The driver even offered to make 'comfort' stops for coffee, smoke, toilet, etc Cost 1200 baht, including Tolls ............

I think I read a pretty good solution to this on a previous post ..... Open notepad and type something like the following junhdfnnslljwueocjnlsn owiuekjfoosnfelnlujsoc then when you need to enter the code/pass into a page, just drag 'n' drop the relevent section. Obviously, still a worry about screen grabs but keylogging should be sorted.

Living in Italy, most of the items I buy on eBay come from America or UK, problem is not many will post to Italy so I have to have things sent to an address in UK first, then over here. I doubt if anyone will send to Thailand. If you are thinking of 'selling' items; as joes3175 says, buyers will be few and far between methinks. Anyway, PayPal charges at least 3% on sales that's before currency charges. If you are going to do anything it may be best to sort out a decent website with a merchant account.

Are you saying that you have just uploaded a new image with the size of 150 x 100? If that's the case, when you save the image from your software you'll have to call it another filename, it looks like the image isn't being overwritten when you upload it. Yes, could be something to do with the recent update in forum software. I've just re-uploaded my avatar and remembered to enter the width and height settings and it seems ok, considering it was a crap image to start with! Hi Sexy, Depending on the software you're using, it could be the quality setting. Then again, this forum could 'resize' the image when you upload it. Try saving the image on your pc at 100% quality, then uploading on here. Once again i'm struck by the cruel 'baseball bat' of fate. My forthcoming extended break in LOS was developing into a full blown 'one way ticket'. However, with this news it looks like this may not be possible. I'm not 50 (8 years to go) so this rules retirement out, which leaves (as far as my limited knowledge goes) a full 'working visa' or a change of address every 90 days.
