Wrong again. My posts are about my vacation in Pattaya, photos of the places I went and the people I shared it with. What I pay is never mentioned unless it is way too much but I was stupid enough to do it anyway. That is not bragging, it is a story about my sometimes ridiculous lengths to have a good time. I've never understood how anyone can have an ego trip about Pattaya when they are paying for the girl's company. If anything we should be sorry for ourselves. Your posts on the other hand are almost always about how little you can pay for what you call a stunner and how others, who pay

I beg to differ. I've never moaned about paying more than 1000 Baht.

Never met Dontcha so can can't comment on what he was like in real life, could be a great guy, but on this board his posts where all about Dontcha and what he could do better than anyone else. Any good information and stories he might have shared were muddled by his ego. He loved to "hear himself type" He still looks in on the board as he is doing as I post this.

It starts playing tomorrow here in the USA. I plan to see it if I have time. I do know I really like the theme song sung by Adele. One of the best since Shirley's days.

More and more I have been going more to afternoon short times and using the evenings for drinking and looking for more afternoon short time candidates. Of course there are always exceptions.

Other than last night's downpour which I luckily missed the weather has been pretty good since I got here on Aug. 14th. Temperature wise it has been very pleasant for me especially during the evening when I am outside the most. I can only think of one night in that time span where the humidity was noticeable.

I've enjoyed Carl's burgers as well. In some of their southern US restaurants they offer Mexican fare as well although I can't remember the name that it goes by. In the Midwest US where I am from, they are known as Hardees. I'm looking forward to trying them out on my next visit. They have to be better than that A&W that is/was up there.

Yeah, that restaurant in the back you have a photo of had a quick death. There are plenty of hotels around and lots of foot traffic going by there so one wonders why the place cant seem to bring in the business. My only guess would be that it might have done better if they had built it as an enclosed AIR-CONDITIONED mall from the start. That being said, I personally go to the movies there quite a bit, and the Villa Market and sometimes McDonalds.

I did a fiance visa in 1990 when I was living in Pattaya long before the internet was around. I went to the US Embassy and got all the instructions and paperwork. By far the hardest thing about it was dealing with the Thai government and all her official documents. Unless you were willing to supplement the Thai pencil pushers income, they would drag out the process until you gave in. Still with all that, it was done in about 6 months and we had it done correctly the first time. I realize things have changed a lot since then but just thought I would add my experience.

Wouldn't do it again not so much because of the airline but because when you arrive in Shanghai you have to go thru immigration and collect your checked luggage and recheck it again, then go thru immigration again on the way to catch your connecting flight. I didn't have a lot of time between flights so at least they were able to escort me thru immigration lines just for that purpose and I made my flight as they were boarding.

Rooj is beyond help, trust me! I was having the same problem at the Metro apts 2 weeks ago. The first two days my laptop would not access the internet even though I was connected to the network. Then all of the sudden it started working without any changes being made.

They do this in Moon Club as well and I know wherever it happens it isn't free. I always tell them to move on, if I want to buy a tequila I will order it from the service staff.

A location would be appreciated as well.

I believe I will do my best to be there. Have enjoyed the music there immensely.

I wonder if they would consider improving Utapao (if airlines could fill planes to handle the Pattaya crowd) as a way to ease some traffic.
