Koh Sichang fills up with Thais from Bangkok on weekends but is empty during the week. There's no nightlife to speak of. I never bothered to make the trip to Koh Samet, but don't think either can compare with Koh Chang. Here are a few shots from Koh Sichang

* There's not a lot close by. * Lady Thai shy * My lens wasn't wide enough to capture the entire room, but I lifted these images off their website. I believe it's called 'Deluxe Pavilion'. The also have 2 villas that rent for around 30,000/day, including butler service:

I wanted to check this place out, lighthouse motif, remotely located on the point of Buddha Hill. Grounds were nicely landscaped, three small pools and a private man-made beach. I received a complimentary upgrade to the deluxe room, 65 square meters, with a view of Koh Larn. I particularly enjoyed the super-sized tub, comfortably accommodating two people. I brought along a companion from Walking Street to bathe me, a small waterfall filled the tub, and a separate walk-in shower was also included. The room was non smoking, but an adjacent circular balcony was attached to re

The worst beer I ever had was Billy Beer, a 6-pack cost 99 cents. Living in Thailand, the only thing I truly miss is Pabst Blue Ribbon beer.

70 baht on Walking Street, in front of Casanovy. Any good?

I moved out last year. The security staff were useless but I've heard they take IDs now. There's a locked gate on Beach Road but anyone can walk in off the street from Second Road. Elevators are in the middle of the building and you have to walk past some massage shops, never made me feel uncomfortable. -
This is what's currently left of the Bed Supperclub The old St. Regis is also coming down. Don't know what's going in that prime spot next to Q Bar. The Federal Hotel has been reduced to a gravel pit. And it was a very quiet night on Soi 11 last night without the VW bus bars, due to the Buddhist holiday. Wouldn't know it was a Saturday night.

Rent an accomodation with a newer tv, then you just need a serial cable.

I hope so, I got out of there quickly. Their henchmen looked ready to come after me for taking that shot. But Crazy House was worthwhile and I bar fined a nice looker from there (albeit for a 1000 baht bar fine).

Good review. One of my favorite restaurants in town.

Not a lot of foot traffic for the FLB last night and not the best business climate for new venues new places to eat Didn't they change the wording on this one? Quiet all around

I also head to Beefeater when for my beef fix, never tried Big Horn, so thanks for the review. Isn't this the 'home' of the one kilo steak?

If you're staying at Le Fenix, it's a minute away, just walk out of the hotel and take the second soi to the left.

Both Lollipops are about the same distance from the Grand President. The important thing is that you can get a blow job without having to cross Sukhumvit.

Lollipop 2 is on Soi 10, Lollipop 1 is pictured.

It's in a small soi across from Q Bar, near Le Finex.

Thanks for the comments, gents. If anyone is interested in an update on the Federal Hotel, here are a few I took today.

Some other Soi 11 scenes from yesterday, like shopping at Villa Market When I was looking for a condo to rent, the first place I checked was Chaidee Mansion, at the 'T'. I asked the guy how much for the rent on a 1-bedroom, he said 48,000. "Isn't that a lot?", I asked. "Utilities included", he said. But nice views of the Soi from there I've frequently stayed at CitiChic down the road on Soi 13, a hotel I can highly recommend. Other options Other dining options include fresh seafood Here's my taco salad from Charlie Brown's. I still thin

The Grand Swiss just opened, it's a renovation of the Swiss Park Hotel on Soi 11/1. I wasn't charged a joiner when stayed at the Swiss Park for one night in 2008 with this farm-fresh spinner. She was very shy but anxious to please.

For anyone staying at the Ambassador Hotel or nearby, here's a tip: You can walk to Soi 7 Beer Garden in 3 minutes. It's true! There's a small lane next to the Raintree Spa across the street from the Ambassador. Just veer to the left and access Soi 7 through a gate next to the Park Hotel. They may lock it at night, I've never tried after midnight, but it's very convenient for getting Freelancers in the afternoon or early evening.

Today here's what's left of the Federal Hotel, a Soi 11 institution since the 1970's, making room for new Condos. I never stayed there but had breakfast in their coffee house once, and their website is still up. http://www.federalbangkok.com/

Sounds depressing, but I've always wanted to see Angkor Wat.
