  1. Here's some vintage footage of Patpong and Soi Coyboy in the '80's
  2. I lived on the 26th floor from 2011-2013, facing Walking Street (so my view was not obstructed by the Hilton, see my avatar),and my rent was 24,000/month.
  3. I remember Cafe New Orleans was a great place for all-u-can-eat bbq chicken and ribs. Steve was having a benefit for the tsunami victims when Gary from Alamo bar introduced us. I believe he was a lawyer from Reno. The best thing about his bars they were open on Buddhist holidays, without alcohol, but you could bar fine.
  4. They're cowards that will eat anything. When the yellow shirts occupied the park I suspect many monitors got roasted on the Barbie. I wonder how they taste? But they're great swimmers and can scale a tree like a squirrel. http://www.naturia.per.sg/buloh/verts/monitor_lizard.htm
  5. Nice Plahgat! People should know that although the monitors are carnivorous and look menacing, they do their best to avoid human beings. So don't be afraid to enter the park! LOL

  10. You must have been pretty wasted. The Pickled Liver Pub is on Sukhumvit Soi 7/1, that's quite a ways from Patpong, but the pub is still there.
  11. I remember the short time room upstairs, and before Coyote GoGo it was called 'Never Go Home Alone'. So many businesses have failed at that location. What's next?
  12. I made my semi-monthly visit to Patpong tonite and the usual bars: Kings Castle I & Ii, Club Electric Blue, Pink Panther, and Bada Bing. King's Castle raised the price of Jack & Coke from 130 to 150, but CEB still has 59 baht draft. As usual, I had the best time in Bada Bing but left the camera home this time. After some Long Island Iced Teas, I enjoy taking a Tuk- Tuk back to Sukhumvit. They always asked for 200 and accepted 120. As a sign of the times, now they ask for 300 and won't take less than 150, it's less than a hundred on the meter. Fortunately, i started early and
  13. He's a former adviser to Colonel Muamar Gaddafi
  14. Stopped off in Pattaya for two days to bar fine three girls, hadn't been in town for over two months. Noticed Fahrenheit has a new sign. The new place it lit but not open. Still lots of Christmas decorations Some attractive Russian women around One was keeping watch while 2 were humping around the corner. A new character on Walking Street? Seemed popular with the ladies Time to sober up with an Irish Coffee at King's Cafe Can I bring my own stash? Making me hungry! The new Saengchan Kitchen, next t
  15. But there was more picture taking than usual last night
  16. Some girls are camera-friendly while others go back into the bar until I'm gone.
