I think it was inflated with the baked beans served at the Sportsman

Turns out this is a new amusement ride called Sky Ryder to be offered on the 3rd floor of the Royal Garden Plaza. But you're right, they'll have to go a lot higher to get any fresh air. No idea about the cost or when the opening is. They're currently in the process of testing the equipment. Any volunteers?

Passed away in San Diego today at 92. I feel fortunate to have seen this great artist in concert at the Pabst Theater in Milwaukee in 1990. An except from Monterey Pop, the pre-Woodstock rock concert that made stars of Jimi Hendrix and Janis Joplin during the "Summer of Love"

The 68 version was much better. Matthew Broderick.

Sounds like you're using MacAfee anti-virus software.

Had lunch here today. The waitress said the bar is closing December 15, after having been in business over 20 years.

Many nights, I need to navigate Walking Street very quickly, so I can get between my favorite bars before happy hour ends. Consequently, I would very much like to shoot the Michael Jackson impersonator for all the log jams he creates with his stupid show. Have I been in Pattaya too long?

Ruen Thai is really good. When you're in Bangkok, try Salathip at the Shangri-La. It's outdoors, right along the river. http://www.shangri-l...rants/salathip/

Ruen Thai sounds interesting, I'll check it out. THIS is what I call an Irish Coffee: The Guiness Book of World Record's largest Irish Coffee. From the Buena Vista Cafe in San Francisco, which serves about 2,000 a day (mostly 6 ounce glasses), and where I discovered this exhilarating elixir.

I really admire the Irish, they'll put whiskey in anything. So, whenever I need a break from crawling the GoGos I like to 'sober up' with an Irish Coffee at King's Cafe, across from the Ice Bar. It's a good spot for people watching, and you can peer up at the Eastern European girls on the Moulin Rouge preview stage next door. I've never been inside, so it's interesting to watch customers walking up and down the stairs, and note how long they stay. Your Irish Coffee is prepared table-side at King's Cafe. Igniting the flame temporarily attracts the attention of hoards of Walking Street strollers, away from the Michael Jackson impersonator, as they're wondering along like zombies with motion camera turned on, usually fixed on the Moulin Rouge stage girls. Do they bother to watch these when they get home? After the inside of your mug is coated with whiskey, 3 tablespoons of brown sugar are evenly distributed inside the glass and heated with the flame. Add the coffee, topped off with a delightfully gooey layer of unwhipped cream. Finally, the whiskey is lit and poured over the top like a lava flow. Be careful the flame has expired before raising the glass to your lips. 200 baht, plus 10% service charge, maybe the most expensive Irish Coffee in town (unless it's served at Moulin Rouge). Used to order at 19th hole, for 150, but is no more. Also, Cafe Patani on Soi Buakhao. Irish Coffee 'purists' may complain about the use of whipped cream, but good value for 130. Where else can I get a good Irish Coffee? Irish Coffee, it's not just for breakfast anymore!

I one I use want 3 month minimum. I've heard some good reviews of this one, but I haven't used them personally http://dancewatchers.com/

Rent a condo for a month. Much more cost effective than a hotel.
