Heading south on 3rd road, past Pattaya Tai, left at the first light, about 1 km on the right. Good breakfast for 120 baht.

I also vote for the Golf Club, and I just had breakfast there Sunday.

I tried Mikes for the first time last week and was disappointed. I ordered a combo plate, burrito and taco, with refried beans and Mexican rice for 250 baht. I still prefer the Blue Parrot , but like the mango margaritas at TR.
-
I"ve had breakfast there twice in the last week. breakfast is good and good value for 90 baht. I bring along my iPad and surf the Internet.
-
I just had the Starving Surfer Combo yesterday with some margaritas and it was very good. Robb came around with a bottle of tequila dispensing free shot to make it even better.

Proud to be a cheesehead Packers are a young team and had many starters injured. Will be better next year.

I also miss Gary and the gang at the Alamo Bar. He was a great guy, used to rent his condo. Polo had the best looking GoGo girls on Walking Street 6-7 years ago. Took a few to Bangkok and Koh Chang for holiday. Steadily declined in quality over the years and eventually replaced with farang women.

I recommend Fuji.

It wasn't luck that the packers punter didn't get on the field, he could have spent the time mongering in los.
-
I also pick Green Bay but vs Pittsburgh.

Hotel in South Pattaya with parking
RhinoTusk replied to jte's topic in Hotel and Accommodation Questions
South Pattaya? I ride my bike to pattaya frequently and often stay at the Jasmine Hotel on Soi BJ, just off Walking Street. There's a small area in front to park bikes and reception can keep an eye on it. About 800 You have to arrive before Walking Street is closed to traffic. You can park bikes underneath the Diamond Beach Hotel on Soi Diamond, but many of the rooms there have roaches. about 1000 -
I'm picking the two best defenses for the Superbowl: Pittsburgh and Green Bay

Paddy's Palms. a good place just to stop for a pint of Guinness, and the irish stew is pretty good, too.

Here's the Amari. Love the 50 m lap pool: The Dusit Princess, with private pool: The Tropicana: The Main Bar area, the white building in the background will provide short time rooms The Roads Bang Bao Village

I go to Koh Chang frequently, last weekend I stayed at Nirvana near Bang Bao Village. It's a great place to relax. The main mongering bars are at White Sands Beach, across from the Chonburi Resort. It's possible to find some gems but the overall quality of the girls is not great so you may want to bring your own if you're particular. There are bars scattered along the western side of the island, the eastern side is mostly undeveloped. There's a nice waterfall not too far from the Amari. The island itself is the second largest in the kingdom. Accommodations in all price ranges, some great high-end resorts. Also possible to get a room with a fan for 200 or a bungalow on the beach. Some excellent seafood restaurants, or expensive restaurants serving mediocre farang food. Highly recommended. but if you're going for the bar scene and nightlife you'll be disappointed. Roads are dangerous at the northern and southern ends of the islands, hairpin and s-turns on steep inclines. Extremely dangerous at night, but roads are ok between White Sands Beach and Kai Kae Beach. I ride there by motorcycle. Ferry crosses the channel once an hour until 6 and the trip takes 40 minutes to an hour, depending on where you cross. One-way fare is 100-120. The Amari is nice but expensive. For the same price you can get a Villa room with small private pool with 10 foot wall for privacy at the Dusit Princess. I've also stayed at the Tropicana, Nirvana, Aana, Sea View, Kacha, Ban Pu, and a few others. Night scene is mostly concentrated at White Sands Beach but other beaches are better so would recommend you stay elsewhere if you're interested in the beach scene.

Why not? Just like casino's, different motif but the same game. Makes a fun bar crawl.

Sunday Brunch at Casa Pascal and Friday Seafood Buffet at Montien Hotel. Not cheap, but good quality. Also try the make-your-own tacos with ribs and chicken at Beefeaters on Saturday and Sunday afternoons, only 250 baht excluding drinks.
-
I was a little disappointed in the ribs (pork), expected better, especially the sauce. Fajitas are good, combo plates are great, margaritas' tasty.
