Asphalt used like they have here is nothing more than a sealing/wear layer, if the 'underlay' that carries the loads isn't correctly formed and compacted, then yes it will fail quickly. -
For a moment there I thought you were talking about Boeing ?

Get it right; it's cool boiled water, drinking warm water would be lethal ?

Only if you swallow.

That's probably the issue. The only mystery line in the story was the one that only the real players were completely unaware of.

I found it depressing before the end of the first episode, much for the same reason. Plus to some degree a feeling of despair knowing that there was such pointless waste of life for the first responders.

If you have any high BP issues they have probably helped rather than harmed.

What is your Exchange rate "tipping point"?.
Bob Belzy replied to Butch's topic in General Discussion about Pattaya
Is that what they mean when they say "it's what your right hand's for"? I always do a fair bit of walking, even in the current climate. Probably the most was in Bangkok one day with 9 kms showing on the watch after one walk. Still had to give my mate Dick a run later. -
I suspect that they contain nothing of the stated ingredients, that it is just a scam list for the gullible Chinese. Probably mainly calcium carbonate and a touch of sildenafil. 'Take cool boiled water' for a persistent hard-on, priceless.

What is your Exchange rate "tipping point"?.

Simple arithmetic tells me that if it gets to 20Baht to the Australian Peso (currently 21 point something), that will make a Soi 6 ST the equivalent of about AUD70, say 100 with drinks. Current flight prices are around AUD1200-1500, just for that ticket price I can get about 8 ST locally. Starting to get expensive. -
I think that you will find a certified cheque a problem in the time taken to clear, even if they accept them at all. Although not directly relevant, I enquired about using one to bring money from UK to Australia many years ago and it was impractical. US domestic practice in the acceptance and handling of cheques is uncommon outside the US.

in 2013 the Australian TGA warned that they contained sildenafil and were therefore illegal without prescription, which I suppose was good news, as at least it had something in them that worked. Problem is who knows what is in them now.

The traders must like Boris. -
That's correct, Google was still telling me they were in the basement a month or so ago.

3.7 down should be plenty for a video stream, but then if it keeps dropping out...... I'd go with AIS too, seems to be the best deals and coverage.

The short answer is that globalist industrial/financial giants effectively control economies these days, not governments. Governments still fiddle with interest rates, but that has bugger all effect these days. Thailand is perceived as a good investment option, who knows all the reasons for that, thus its currency rises. Now that is good for importers, but lousy for exporters, so eventually will the THB bubble burst? -

There is a fair amount of misinformed talk about exchange rates these days, so I thought it worth looking at how a number of currencies are faring against the THB. Lots of currencies left out, but this captures those that I think most BMs are interested in. Graphs courtesy of xe.com Its fairly evident that the changes are a result of the perceived strength of the Thai economy, not the weakness of an other. So a slap to the Remoaners perhaps? -
Why are women & Kentucky Fried Chicken so alike? By the time you're finished with the breast & thighs, all you have left is the greasy box to put your bone in.

They'll probably just put in a small ramp at either end and the local lads will flock to jump it on their bikes. -
Can't really suggest anything to answer your first point. In regard to driver, it will always be better to have a Thai driving if there is a problem, but if you are in the car the BiB will still see you as a cash cow ..... The legal position is that most westerners do not require an IDP to drive in Thailand, but the BiB do not know the law and will try and rip you off for not having one. Some hire companies will say you need one, the more knowledgeable will say you do not, but that doesn't solve the dumb BiB problem.

There are government vaccination programs from time to time when significant outbreaks occur, but I have no idea how broad or effective they are. Vaccinations are certainly not the norm for normal soi dogs and cats.
