Carl's Jr Central Festival Pattaya American Fast Food
BigDUSA replied to tequilareef's topic in Restaurants and food
I had lunch today at Carl's. I really enjoyed my cheeseburger and fries. Compares favorably with 5 guys burgers on the east coast. They offer draft Heineken for 99 Baht. -
Sky-Top.

I had fish and chips for dinner tonight. Large piece of tasty well cooked fish. Fries and pies were also tasty. Cost was 220 Baht.

Many local cheese makers in the US. I especially like Cabot cheese. There extra sharp cheddar is excellent. I'm currently in Pattaya and will give Tequila Reef's so called Philly cheese steak a try. I was born and raised in Philadelphia and I know a philly cheese steak. I've got the body and arteries to prove it.

I paid bar for a BG at the Cherry Bar the other day. I explained where Sky-Top is located and I met her there. I generally stay with a women, I've known for years. She works a few doors away from Sky-Top. No scooter needed.

I don't like guys posting my picture on this forum. I choose not to answer questions from them. I'm still able to ride the Baht Bus with my women. When we get off they assist me walking. I'm slowly losing my balance.

How busy is the week PRIOR to Christmas?
BigDUSA replied to bigdelta's topic in General Discussion about Pattaya
I agree with Tomcat76. Make sure you have a confirmed room reservation in hand before you arrive. -
Stopped by the PBG for dinner with BG. Food was served within 10 minutes. BG enjoyed the Thai food. I was pleased with the quality of my meal.

I never expected to need a mobility scooter but here I am. The scooter is not a perfect solution. It's a viable alternative for the mobility impaired guy who wants to still be able to come to Pattaya. My legs and balance may not work as well as they used to but my dick still does. The sidewalk in front of Sky-Top is like a mini ramp. Easy to gain access to the street. I drive against traffic close to the side of the road. I use the minor soi to do most of my travels. So far Beach Road promenade is accessible with many ramps from soi 2 to 200 meters short of Walking Street. Yesterday I made a mistake and needed assistance to get the scooter over a curb. Couple of Thai guys saw I was in trouble and came over to offer help. I could have solved the problem by myself but it would have been a hassle. I plan on offering a full report on my experience in Pattaya at the end of my trip. I plan on renting another scooter next trip.

The scooter has reverse and also has a horn, headlights, running lights and turn signals.

I ordered from the Pizza Company tonight. Delivery was quick and the pizza was very good Lots of cheese and pepperoni. I ordered wings and they included a small loaf of bread and a pasta side. Cost was 530 Baht.

Cheap in room safe keeps honest people honest. They provide minimal security but way better then leaving your wallet out on the table.

LOL. All Hub has to add is a unprovoked personal attack. He follows me from thread to thread. Thread fucking along the way. Sad and lame.

I find the average Thai to be helpful. I walk with a cane and unfortunately I'm not as speedy as I used to be crossing the street. I had a large number guys stop traffic and assist me. This morning I was riding my mobility scooter on Beach Road promenade and when I got within 200 or so meters of Walking Street. I made a mistake and I was unable to continue. A couple of guys saw I was in a difficult situation and came over to help without being asked.

I can't speak to the helmet, license or insurance requirement. I was out and about this morning and passed by three policeman walking patrol and a police vehicle on soi 6. They didn't look at me twice.

I've been to Pattaya many times. I'm in town now and other then the police being armed. I've never seen a weapon. Pattaya is a safe place to visit.

I stopped by the Big Horn the other night with a BG I met at the Cherry Bar. I ordered the tenderloin steak and it was tasteless. I also ordered the goulash soup that was excellent. Better then what my wife makes. My companion had chicken and really enjoyed her meal.

I rented a scooter today and so far it's worked well. The owner of the company told me it's rated for a 20Km range. I rode from Sky-Top to Starbucks at Central Festival and back and the battery indicator was still at full charge. It's rated to go 8Km per hour and it handles well. I paid 6000 for 19 days plus a 1K delivery and pickup fee. I had to leave a 5K deposit. If you see an old geezer riding around Pattaya. It's most likely me. Scott experience 66(0)847015442
