One thing to remember Pattaya has a huge over supply of condo's Once I've stayed in his condo and he sees how I take care of it. He will want to rent his place in low season to me.

Last trip, I'd travel from Sky-Top to Tropical Bert's. I'd cross over 2nd Road. When I got to Beach Road, I'd wait for a break in traffic then cross. Once I was on the promenade the drive up Beach Road was easy. Many cutouts along the way to Walking Street. Easy to cross back over. One has to use common sense and a heightened sense of personal safety.

I agree Tropical Bert's is a good place to stay. Reasonable rares. Good pub grub and an excellent location. Bert is located off of 2nd Road. Baht bus runs all night. Soi 6 is loaded with good bars and you will find what you're looking for.

Pattaya has a serious water shortage, now. Thousands of condo's are being built and where will the extra water, electricity come from.
