    Sounds like a fun night. I'm in. Where do we meet and what time? The Queen Victoria Inn serves good pub grub and cold beer. We could meet there for dinner?

    My mom worked as a waitress and her tips were never turned over to the owner of the restaurant.

    Easier to get a Baht bus back to the Sabai Lodge late at night.

    Prices have risen since you were last here. I've had to increase my ST rate to 700 Baht. LT has stayed at 1K. I was in Pattaya last March.

    I'm from Philly and I know a good cheesesteak and I've got the body to prove it. I'm in town next month. I'll stop by the Reef and give you my take on their Philly style cheesesteak.

    Any information on where I could rent a electric wheelchair in Pattaya?

    Not only do they do good pub grub. Pete offers an extensive menu of good food at a reasonable price. The only meal I haven't eaten there is breakfast. I plan on rectifying this next month when I'm back in Pattaya.

    For the guys who like a good cold glass of draft beer. A mile or two by Baht bus is of no consequence. Add in good pub grub served by the Pattaya Beer Garden. What's not to like?

    I'm getting ready for my upcoming vacations. My family is looking forward to our cruise to Bermuda and then I'm off for another vacation in Pattaya. Thanks for asking.

    Pattaya Pete's Beer Garden is not far from the Queen Vic or the Cherry Bar.

    I'm not surprised with all the new condo/hotels going up in Pattaya.

    I've always enjoyed the food and great service.

    I used Bangkok Pattaya last March for a medical problem. I was very satisfied with the service. MD spoke good English and I was able to communicate my problem and she understood what I was trying to tell her.

    I agree UAL is the best of a bad lot for flying to BKK. I still recommend flying with UAL. For a long time I was a Premier Executive level frequent flier. I always was seated in the exit row and had club access when I flew international plus I received a 50% mileage bonus.

    You did EXACTLY the same with the 787. What goes around comes around.

    Only one has exploded. RR has spent a lot of money inspecting all the engines that were in service at the time.

    Quantas claimed one of the RR engines on their A380 exploded. Unfortunately my wife can't make this trip. Maybe next trip.

    My wife unfortunately is unable to accompany me on this trip. I'd have no problem flying the 380 with my family.

    Given all the bad publicity and major money RR spent having the engines inspected. I feel it's an acceptable risk.

    I fly Thai this October. I might get lucky and fly the 380.
