On second thought I'll tell you. 1. Married to a Thai (10 years) 2. Both kids born in Thailand 3. Lived in Isaan for a few years 4. Owned a business in Isaan 5. Owned three businesses in America (two sold at a decent profit) 6. Currently own and have for the last four years a Thai restaurant I never questioned Dr Mick, I also think he's a good chap. This business might look good from the advert but in all fairness a lot of people put up hard earned money to buy into a dream and sometimes a different opinion might be helpful. The business may very well be worth 900k (there is a ca

That's what I thought

Or are you just calling the kettle black?

You sure about that?

Where did the 900k baht asking price come from? A 6 month sales history is nothing more than a NEW business venture. If anything a business that is offered and still that new sounds like a failing business that the owners are looking to unload. IMO the value of this business is worth nothing more than the value of it's contents i.e. stove, tables etc.....and they are now used!

This might be a hard sell.

I lived in Germany for three years...Loved the place. They also had a great monger street in almost every city.

I thought the food sucked but the wife likes it. -
Thailand might want to adopt some drug and alcohol testing for commercial drivers, many and I do many times have I taken a bus, taxi or Tuk Tuk for hire when the operator was totally wasted. I had a cab driver in Bangkok driving me to Pattaya one trip and I made him stop and let me out at a gas station in the middle of nowhere because I was afraid for my life!

That would depend on how much currency is being traded. It could be a major plunge!

Gas station scam -- pay attention
captcraig2 replied to MM's topic in General Discussion about Pattaya
Had a stunt pulled on me by a taxi driver that I hired for a ride to Korat. We agreed on a price and that I would buy all fuel, stopped at a station and we went in for snacks while he fueled. When we were about to leave I noticed the price on the pump was 1300 baht, as soon as we pulled away he tells my wife the fuel was 1600 baht. I told him to back up to the pump and showed the driver the amount...He never said another word for the entire trip.- 35 replies

My Thai wife gets spoken to in Spanish at least once a week. I guess Americans think that all dark skinned people are Mexican.
