  1. Why would a hardware store sell teapots? And what door hinge only takes one screw to secure it?
  2. Don’t know if it is the same one but there is a shop on soi Buakhao near the soi Diana Inn junction that should fit the bill, full of PVC Latex etc………….enjoy have fun
  3. Got to agree with the bagman and LBJ the Metro is a great place to stay. I’ve stayed there my last 3 trips and always had a good time every time also recommended it to loads of people and they have always been pleased as well. The only reason I’m not staying there on my next trip is because I have evil intentions towards a couple of the staff and I don’t like doing it on my own doorstep. But will be popping in most days to use the excellent bar and facilities.
  4. My choice would be Metro Apartments fantastic well appointed rooms etc immaculately clean and a very nice bar and staff; http://www.metro-apartments-pattaya.com/ But plenty around the area try Robins Nest; http://robinsnestpattaya.googlepages.com/r...elandrestaurant Or Stereo Bar; http://www.stereopattaya.com/ But if your unsure there are plenty of places around so you could just book one/two nights then take a look around with not to many problems. But it’s a very good area to stay in I like it a lot.
  5. Apologies mate I thought you had got mixed up with the Inn. When you stated that you went to the other pools. Though I agree with you about the Ruen Thai pool being the best one.
  6. In think you mean the Sabai Inn mate the Wing has it's own pool
  7. The hotel runs a tuk-tuk service to the main road so I presume quite a way. That and the smaller bathroom no tub made me choose the Dynasty Grand over the Citichic (I had got down to 2 in the final choice). I think Evil Penevil did an excellent report on the place as well try a search to bring it up. Monty
  8. Was tempted to stay there myself on my next trip but a little to off Sukhumvit for my needs. This you tube submission show the room quite well, though the dumb ass bloke making it doesn’t know the difference between a door bell and a telephone. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WBY2R4FP3WE
  9. Good one
  10. In the UK Essex would replace Campbelltown
  11. Your in the room for 8hrs + a night shaging and sleeping, you cant organise yourselves to charge any equipment when your in the room. How do some people tie there own shoelaces when away from home?
  12. Try boyztown for man on man action.
  13. If I have the San Mig lite with the lime in the top does that count towards my 5 a day?
  14. From the web site "Fantastic private pool right next to your villa with sun deck and tropical surroundings all with beautiful sea view The hotel is in two buildings the expensive rooms are in the building that is built on the beach the cheaper ones are on the other side of the road. So I would guess that most of the more expensive ones will have a sea view
  15. I stayed at this place when I went there last May; www.changburi.com Very nice 10 yards from the bar area and 7/11 good Thai restaurant very close also a good place to rent a bike from Ooy at Koh Chang travel information I just booked at the travel office across the soi from the Metro he arranged door to door mini bus and hotel can’t remember the exact price but it was very reasonable and hassle free. Enjoy, it's a very nice Island
  16. Came from an advertisement I believe; YouTube
  17. Somebody pissed on your chips Papillion?
  18. A wise man once said; “There are two sides to every story, then there is the truth”
  19. Corner of soi Diana Inn and LK Metro
  20. Deep fried mars bars
  21. Good cause hope it goes well
  22. I stayed at the “City Beach Hotel” nice place central to everything in town GF was about 1600thb a night. Some more places listed on; http://www.huahinafterdark.com/
  23. I was shown around this place by a Mamasan friend of mine who knows the owner, just after it opened about 12-18 months ago. We went there for a drink as she wanted to wish her friend good luck (on my money ). I thought the rooms were small and cramped (they’ve done wonders with the photos) no balcony for that “extra space” except for the large room but I believe they only have one or two of those. Bathroom rates “adequate” at best. The stairs were narrow and steep and would not be good if your pissed up or “don’t get around as well as you once did”. But I suppose “the price is right” but it would not be on my list of places to stay. The bar was ok and the girls friendly couple of good lookers but as we know bar staff changes quickly in Pattaya. No axe to grind against the place been in on subsequent visits for a drink just thought I would let you know my thoughts. I was quite embarrassed when after the “grand tour” I had to lie to the lady owner about how wonderful her place was.
  24. That’s a shame used to enjoy there chicken shish meal, and it was only a few steps from the Metro. Must have closed just after I left.
  25. This post should be pinned on every Thai forum and board on the interweb.
