I'm sure every man and his dog now knows your bad food story! Regarding the Staff criticism this has to do with the food again and has no place in this the "Accomodation" section! Surely this mysterious "Somebody" who is supposedly unhappy has the balls to contact "Dave" himself with HIS gripe! I have eaten at Canterbury on numerous occasions and never had a bad meal considering the price structure! Value 100%! Also I note that over the years I have not even seen a handful of complaints levelled at this place! I would suggest in future if you have a food criticism then handle it by P.M.

When "Slices" 1st opened it's Soi Dianna outlet the product was good,large fairly priced and reliable.However now IMO it's just luke warm, mediocre, overpriced soggy crap, and the only redeeming feature is that the "Slices" have shrunk so not so much to force down when pissed and starving hungry!

I also saw that the old site of "Malibu" Soi13/2nd rd has now re-opened as "Bamboo2" bar,so even more competition for freelancers!

Have known Alex for a year or two and am familiar with his rooms and can assure you that this offer will not last long at all! I'm cuming myself in Oct/Nov for 1 month but have already booked,this was not on offer for my dates,and still is'nt! If you can I suggest to anyone to grab it quick!

I was told sometime ago it was apartment type accomodations,some sold,some rented out at exorbitant rates!

I would suggest to the OP thjat being as his livelyhood seems to depend on connection speed etc,that he physically visits this 6 star de-luxe accomodation and see for himself! Absolutely no need to pre-book as I.m sure it will be at least half empty all year round!

All good points especially the cost of transportation which can mount up say over a 1 month period,making a cheap monthly steal a far less attractive deal!

Hi Kiwis Just today got E-mail from Flight Centre regarding really CHEAP R/T fare being offered by Emirates with good availability! This is Auck-Syd-Bang R/T for NZ$1075 including ALL taxes etc! Was advised to be prompt,and I agree as this will surely fill up fast! Now Royal-Brunei are offering a wide range of return flight dates for $996!

Excellent point Emil,I have never understood how some people feel the neccessity for Seaview accomodation,when just 5 minutes walk away an abundance of equally attractive accomodation exists for half the price or less if staying a couple of weeks or more! My digs of the past 3 years suddenly out of the blue increased their rate (even to loyal patrons) by 60% with no explanation,apart from sheer greed! So I simply changed to an almost identical lodging,for my Oct trip, for a price same as I paid in May! Just shop around especially out of the so called high/peak seasons! 6

Can see your point,however I don't consider a 25% increase to be gradual! At that rate the price would DOUBLE every 4 years!

Absolute crap! His money/his choice,and I would hazard a guess many more members here, including myself! I do not travel halfway around the world to be surrounded by persons who do not share my HIGH values,and are inclined to speak to each other in "Tongues" in my presence!
