  1. Evil, Thanks for a very detailed and informative post. I have often wondered if the pornographic photos of my Thai girlfriend that I have taken personally, (see http://www.pattayatalk.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=42628) is against the law. She has consented to me taking the photos and has often posed up. I have read yours all the corresponding posts, and the answer is still not clear to me. Can you have a look at the above link and tell me what you reckon. I have loads more pics to post, but do not want to get a tap on the shoulder the next time I arrive at BKK immigration. I am not selling the photos, only posting them on the trip reports for others to admire (or not) Thanks. Rascall.
  2. For me it always will be the Pattaya Pattaya song. Where did it originate?? I just love the words and the tune. Rings bells with me everytime I hear it. I even have it as a ringtone for my Thai 'Friends'
  3. This was a great night Adam. The girls were well on form and the shows were excellent.
  4. What does it cost? What ammenities on offer? Any pics??
  5. ADAM, It was another great night. Are you going to post the pics??
  6. Adam, If I can get out of LHR on Wednesday I will be there with the Thai girl boxer.
  7. Looks a fucking dump to me.
  8. Hi Pattaya Mad I can confirm they have safes in all rooms AND security boxes in reception. They are free to use during the day but the reception charge a fee if you want to open the security box at night. Can't remember what the cost was.
  9. Another great night Adam. See you in a couple of weeks - I will be back with the Thai boxer!
  10. Pete, If this is still going strong next month, I will 100 percent use the service. Great idea. I hope it wont be abused thats all.
  11. Any pictures Adam? It was a good night!
  12. Are you going to repeat the day time cruises?
  13. Take it from me lads, £500 compensation is not a good offer. I regularly travel from London Heathrow to Glasgow with BMI and everytime pray that I will be bumped or 'VFO' - Volunteer for offloading. BMI instantly pay £300 cash for this very short flight (1hr) or as an alternative you can elect for £400 worth of BMI flight vouchers. The cash or vouchers are given at the customer services desk then and there at the airport. No forms. No delays. I always go for the cash. Must have happened to me about 6 times in the last three years. They guarantee you a first class seat on the next flight, which usually is about 2 hrs behind. £500 compensation for a 12 hr flight??? Not for me I'm afraid.
  14. Thanks for the update Andy. It seems that the standard rooms in the new block works out just 200b per night more than the old blocks. Not bad for brand new acomodation. I have just looked at the swimming pool in your pic. Is that a new pool as well? This will make 3 pools at the Areca if so. Some 5* hotels don't boast three pools. Some pics of my old room in the corona suite to be found here. http://www.pattayatalk.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=42628 Please ignore the naked pictures of my g/f on the bed and pay attention to the inside decor of the rooms.
  15. Thats a lot of money. I wonder what we will get for that sort of cash. Will the standard rooms be available still at the previous standard rate?
  16. It was Tangent, in a post, who recommended me to stay at the RG years ago when i first started to come to Pattaya. I was very pleased with the accomodation and stayed there for all my trips over the following couple of years. I liked the place, the staff and more so the large rooms. The girls seem to love the cooking facilities in the room. One year I could not get in as the hotel was full. I stayed at the Areca Lodge which was cheaper, more nearer the action and included breakfast, although the rooms was smaller with no living room. I never returned to the residence Garden since. It just is too quite for me. I stopped going to the Areca lodge last year. The decor has gone down hill rapidly. Too much building works and the slow but sure price increase led me away.
  17. Cheapest I have ever had was a couple of years ago £380 with Thai via Travelocity. Never seen it that cheap since. I wish I knew how some of you guys have got cheaper fares. Most expensive I've paid was in August around the £580 mark with Thai.
  18. Have flown both countless times. Both come out about equal in my book. I usually decide on price. Departures from LHR are usually around the same time for the night flights. However, I dont recall ever getting a night flight on the return journey with Eva. Thats not a bad price villa, so don't dally on deciding or you will loose it.
  19. :clap1 :clap1 :clap1 This is the best tip in the hotel section for ages. Thank you.
  20. Hi Guys. Its a few months now since the Holiday Inn on Beach Road has opened and I wondered if any of the Boardies have had any experienceof the place. Rooms, Price, Pool etc etc. Moreso, What I am particularly keen to know is their guest policy? I am a Holiday Inn Priority Club Platinum Elite card holder as I generally stay in their hotels for more than 60 days in a year. This gets me free upgrades in HI Hotels and some other priviliges, but i wondered if they would waive the Guest Fee if there is one. Before you shout, "Send them an email and ask" I have to say that my Platinum Status has been earned through my company on business as opposed to private bookings, and I would be too worried that something would get back, if I asked them direct. I just want to ask if there are any other Platinum members whohave used the HI Pattaya and their experience.
  21. QUOTE (Myrrh @ Oct 24 2009, 01:04 AM) I suggest you slip one of the stewardesses 1000 baht! :rotflmao :rotflmao Brilliant response!!
  22. Never had any seat back entertainment in 12 years flying LHR-BKK return.
  23. Have used asiarooms.com on a few occassions. They were very reliable and competitive
  24. Swimming pool is essential for me. I love a fuck and fumble in the pool some afternoons, and just to sit around with last nights teelak. For me no pool = no stay.
  25. I used Summer Spring Hotel overlooking beach on Soi 2 in April. A bit quiter than Areca. Brand new hotel. Roof top affinity pool. BIG rooms and very girl friendly. Great Staff. No negatives at all for me. Same price as you was quoted for Areca, except buy 7 nights get 1 free. Much better than Areca IMHO Or stay nearer to the action in the sister hotel in Soi 13 - Sandy Springs. If you do a general search of both you will read some good reviews. Good luck mate.
