  1. Hello Andf I've stayed at the Bay Breeze every visit to Pattaya since 2002. 12 times now. I believe it is one of the best value budget hotels in Pattaya. My first few visits to Pattaya from 2001, tried a few other hotels. Flipper on Soi7, 2 of the Sawasdee chain, Queen Vic on Soi6, Charming Inn on Beach Rd at Soi3, and Apex on Second rd. But Bay Breeze is my number 1 choice. Best location as it is not far from most main Pattaya attractions. Good size bath/shower room. Large comfortable bed. Maids are generally nice. Excellent price. Cons: Air con leaves a bit to be desired. Roo
  2. Jboy. I always stay Bay Breeze. It's budget but comfortable enough for me. Ideally situated close to most action spots. A recent pic for you. Street in front of hotel about 5 weeks ago.
  3. Chico also recommend Mr. Toom's service used 2 weeks ago. Flight arrive 1605, 20 mins early. My driver at front of the mob. No problems on way to Pattaya, only a couple minor traffic delays. Arrived hotel on Soi11 by 1820. Excellent. chico,
  4. Thanks for the pics, Alf. Your stable of ladies is getting more interesting. Does the Hello girl go with nice falang? Just wondering!!!! Got another little honey toooo. CYA later, chico,
  5. Please post pics, Alf. Help to get me in the mood for 2 weeks time. Cheers, chico
  6. Sounding better and better. Looks to me like they are fitting in just fine. Hope one will let me fit in. cheers, chico,
  7. Damn, too much competition for me. Still have a look though. Cya. chico,
  8. Alf. Some of these girls look okay and fun. Would gladly buy an LD for the one in gold bikini ( I like that smile) and 1 or 2 others. Will drop by soon. Thanks. chico,
  9. Admit that most of these girls have little appeal to me. But some girls are not photogenic. Have seen guys wandering hand-in-hand with worse looking girls than these in Pattaya. You can't please everybody Fred. I'll drop by early June to say hello. Good luck Fred. chico,
  10. These awards are a joke. I've flown on the supposed "top 4" and Singapore Air pisses on them all, no contest. Last year flew Thai Air Sydney-BKK and it was fcukin' boring, service ordinary. Terrible entertainment. My dream is a harem of Singapore girls, most of whom are Malaysian actually. I luv em. chico, simple dog
  11. When in Bangkok, have stayed at the Woraburi hotel, actually starting not long after it opened. About 4 years ago. Very cheap then. 2 weeks ago, tried to book a superior room for next week at about 1100+ baht. Not available so they booked me into deluxe room at 2000baht. Having stayed in deluxe before, not worth it at that rate. Seems you gotta book way ahead to get the cheaper room now. (Side-note:: 2 years ago and last year, one of the most gorgeous girls I've seen in Thailand was working in the reception area.) Stayed at the Dynasty hotel July 2001 and thought it okay then. Booked the
  12. Who is the lovely young lady in black, please? Is she available as a personal tour guide? Would love someone like her to show me around Pattaya. After almost a year away and mild dementia, I've forgotten where the places of interest are located. Looks like I'll be stopping by FLB this time, if I can find the place. chico, let the dog out
  13. Yes, Teelack, the airport bus does stop at the domestic after the international terminals. Service about every 20-30 minutes. About 30 mins to Nana. Good luck. chico
  14. Thai are offering a 20 % discount off the normal points ( 45000) from Sydney to Bangkok til August. 36000 points is enough for a seat. I just booked 2 days ago and they indicated there are plenty of seats. Although I been home only a month from my last trip, the magnetic power of Pattaya is too strong to fight. I'll be back in 10 days. chico, happy agogo doggy
  15. On my 12 visits to Pattaya, I have stayed in 7 budget type hotels( including Flipper House and the Queen Vic) but the Bay Breeze has been my main hotel the last 10 trips. Camus did pick a bad day to check in as the hotel had no water that particular day, the 3rd. I think it came on again late that night. Although this problem was a bit of a running joke between me and a couple of the staff, I was generally disappointed in the staff attitude in regard to this problem. Fortuneately, I was able to shower in my friend's room at the RG before the nights activities. I'll just count this as a
  16. Walked into FLB last night and was knocked out when I heard the terrible news. Om had always greeted me, starting from my first visit July 2001. A beautiful young lady struck down so tragically. Sincere condolences to family and her friends at FLB. chico.
  17. Maco88. Having the same problem with Woraburi. The internet booking form doesn't seem to work. Sent an email to info@woraburi.com on Sunday night and no answer yet. Same thing happened last July so had to phone them. Other than that, I'm satisfied with the hotel. Good luck. chico, dog out,
  18. Hi misterc. I'll be there in March also, but it's my 12th trip If you buy traveller's cheques, suggest getting them in A$200 denominations. Plenty of exchange booths around to cash them. The rates sometimes vary slightly. As mentioned above, you'll need your passport for this. Bring your own clothes. I have t shirts, shorts and sandals daytime, casual collared shirts, long casual trousers with zip-up pockets and joggers for the evening. My stuff goes in a holdall( usually 9kgs) and backpack. Laundry places everywhere. ( Cost example: 5 shirts, 5 underpants, 5 socks will cost about 9
  19. Hello. I've stayed at 7 hotels in Pattaya and Bay Breeze has been my number one choice the last 9 visits. For me, it's ideally situated and good value. I like to walk. Out the door, turn left, cross second road and there you have a beerbar ccmplex. 22 minutes walk to Electric Blue gogo, the last gogo on Walk Street. Out the door, left, then turn right on second road and Sois 9,8,7 are only 7-8 mins walk. Another 8 mins or so further on to Soi6. Or 2 mins on a baht bus. 5 or 6 mins more to Sois 3,2,1 and BigC. Out the door, turn right and 6 mins or so to Soi Buakhao and a number of 3
  20. "Monday mornin' ain't so bad. I know of nothin' else that bugs me. Come in Tuesday I feel better, even my old man looks good. " Etc etc etc. In Australia, hit number one November 1966. Recorded by "The Easybeats." Written by 2 of the band members, Harry Vanda and George Young. Considered one of the all time most popular Australian songs. cheers, chico, howllllllll
  21. I like the Bamboo bar but the singer often doesn't know the words to the songs. The Blues Factory defineately has the best musicians. Last month, found a good band in the DJ bar on Soi8, Beach Road end next to the Soi8 Centerpoint Complex. The bar has a couple of pool tables in front. chico.
  22. To whom it may concern, Pete? I'm in an internet place on Soi Buakhao. ActiveX has arrived in Pattaya, on FLB site. It's spreading. FYI. cheers, chico.woof
  23. Hi Cybers. Thank you for your help. BTW, had to put in “https” etc. I then downloaded about a dozen threads no problem, then the “ActiveX” blast is back. Even when trying to preview this post it came up. Had to hit back button twice to get rid of it and so lost the post. Doing this on Word so I don’t lose it again. I’m running “Windows 98” and ms office installed is “Office97”. Please bear with me as I'm very computer illiterate. Appreciate your assistance. Chico. ps, even trying to post this, the f'n thing blasts. SHTT
  24. Help. Sometimes when clicking on forums or threads this message accompanied by a hooter sound comes up. "This page provides potentially unsafe information to an ActiveX control. Your current security settings prohibit running controls in this manner. As a result, this page may not display correctly". It's very inconsistent. Can take 2 or 3 attempts to open a thread or forum subject. It also happens on the OFBboard. My local computer expert was unable to help me. Thanks for any advise. cheers chico.
