  2. Yesterday I had sex with an inflatable doll girl. Today, I have an male inflatable doll looking for me. Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  3. Half or more of the foreign passport immigration lines are now "Chinese only" according to this article: https://www.stickboybkk.com/news/chinese-vip-tourists-get-dedicated-immigration-lines-visitors-now-2nd-class-5-thai-airports/
  4. The Robin Hood Tavern in the Avenue mall had power at 11:00 am and I was able to eat breakfast in there. Most of the shops along 2nd Road were without power on the Soi 15 side, however. The Royal Garden mall started having power cuts about 12 noon when I was in there, so it appears to be hit and miss.
  5. Is this a spinoff of the James Corden Carpool Karaoke series?

  7. I have a mailbox service in Las Vegas, Nevada. When mail comes in, they send you an email and you get a listing of what is in your box, sender and what size of letter it is. They forward the mail to Thailand whenever you choose to do so. It usually takes about 2 weeks to get from Vegas to Pattaya. The scanning is an option, but they will open the envelope to scan it, so you may not want them to see your confidential information. A word of warning is that anything containing what feels like a credit card will beome "lost" in the Thai mail system. Better to use a courier service for that, i.
  8. Kinnaree is having the Thanksgiving meal on Saturday instead of Thursday for some reason, according to their Facebook page.
  9. Thanks for taking the time to report your issues with immigration, my sympathies as well. I know that you can apply for the retirement extension up to a month prior to its expiration, and I have always been leery of leaving and re-entering Thailand during that time until the new re-entry permit is issued. Apparently, there is a real issue to be aware of after all.
  10. Thanks for the photos. It is interesting that Infinity is doing the 100 baht beers all night now. They used to have it from opening to midnight. I guess low season is officially here.
  11. The Tomboys that work there don't dance on the podium stages then?
  12. I went in today to do the 90 day report. The electronic queue display systems were still not working. Everyone had to huddle around the desk to listen intently for their number to be called.
  13. Thanks. My passport number came back in the SMS response, so I hope I am good to go.
  14. But you save 10 baht when you pay at the Royal Garden Provincial Electricity Office versus 7-11. Surely worth the trek out there...
  15. So that is what that was... I was eating Christmas dinner at the Sportsman on Soi 13 and they had some of those things, like the picture above, placed on the tables. I had no idea.
  16. "Ka" and "Krap" are supposed to add politeness and soften the statement or question. Thais have many different ways of addressing other people depending on their social standing or age beyond "Khun". Tan -- higher status, when addressing a monk Pee -- older than you Nong -- younger than you New -- young child etc.
  17. I ran the experiment last night with my expat card. Bottle of Tiger Light 80 baht (for now).
  18. Just another data point in this thread. I successfully rented a car at the San Francisco airport through Enterprise with just a Thai drivers license. They did not ask for an International Driving Permit (IDP) or warn me of any problems that might result from using the foreign drivers license. I drove carefully and did not get pulled over. I'm not sure if the police would be so welcoming of the foreign license if they stopped me, but I was fortunate not to play that scenario out.
  19. The invoices I receive tend to include a unique number that needs to be filled in for an electronic payment from my bank. I wonder about trying to pay the bill without the unique identifier. Not sure if it would work.
  20. So what was the resolution of this issue when you were in the states? Did Enterprise accept the Thai license alone or want an IDP also? I will be in a similar situation fairly soon, renting a car in California with my CA license expired and a valid, current Thai license.
  21. Thanks for ruining the "flying scene" for the rest of us! Have a good trip.
  22. I have seen the line dancing thing happening occasionally when I walk by that restaurant. Reminded me of the staff at Joe's Crab Shack in Las Vegas where the staff gets up and dances around. The Vegas staff seemed to get into more than the MK ones. Thanks for the review.
