Welcome Oxman, Im not familiar with Chabahut,my recomendation would be to stay on Soi 7 or 8.Its a good location for newbies,there are plenty of hotels on these Sois.Flipper lodge and house,Eastiny's ect. My guess is wherever you stay you'll have a ball.

No exp.of the guest house itself,but as the site says its a newish Soi. Lots of new bars and guest houses,its very close to Soi Diana and Soi Buakhao,where you can get a Bhat bus to Walking st easily. My favorite eating hole 1 min.away...Robins nest who also has new rooms above. Let me know if you have any specific Q's about the area. Sateeeeb

IMHO,they are as good as any other agent maybe better than most.However you will pay top price and more. There have been topics on private rentals sales etc.In these the owners will be happy with a price far below what the agents ask.
