I always stay there for me its the best budget hotel.Staying there from Jan 15 till April 14 Its not on Soi Diana tho its on Soi Lengkee. In April it should be about 600B a night. Anymore info you need just ask.

Yes Geoff,the O visa allows you to stay for a maximum 15 mnths.You do have to do a visa run every 90 days tho. I get an O visa every year,absolutely no problem.If you need to give a reason say you are visiting friends. There have been a few guys in the States that use a certain consulate,try a search.Guys in the UK just use the consulate at Hull.

Depends when you are going,i always stay at J&P Court on Soi Lengkee,which is almost a continuation of Soi Diana across Buakaow. 800B in Dec and Jan. 700 in Feb and 600 from March onward.

My hotel in march is 600Baht a night with air lol. Orchid is a very good hotel,but if you are going to Pattaya for partying not the place to stay.Its more suited to couples and families.

Ill be checking out Mansions on my 3 mnth visit starting jan 15th.Their long term rates are excellent,however you usually get what you pay for.So there has to be some major downsides at the Mansion. One of my ideas would be that Mansion is in a bad area,ie seems very close to all the Thai cafes on Central Rd. maybe making it very noisy or smelly. Its got to be worth a look though,ill report back in Jan.
