My god.... I had to go looking for this thread... it had disappeared onto the second page!!! Looks like Emirates are planning on ordering some more A380's!!! http://www.reuters.c...ype=marketsNews -
Looks like the Formula 1 Championship will be adding Thailand to the calendar in 2014, and it will be a night race around a street circuit, just like the Singapore Grand Prix.... Also.... The Race of Champions is is being held at the Rajamangala Staduim in Bangkok this December 15th and 16th http://www.raceofchampions.com/

Get well soon Mick.... from TheFiend and Nee.

The place where I hire from standard charge is 800 for a Vios with full insurance, with only 2000 baht deposit, and if you hire for 7 days the only charge for 6.

Nice to see that TeamGB have carried on winning more Gold medals in the "sit on your backside" sports..... It's took us to within 8 Golds of the mighty USA's total. We even won a "sitting on your backside" athletics event thanks to Long Jumper Greg Rutherford. The UK Sports Personality of the Year will be be difficult to pick...... My vote goes to Bradley Wiggins - Tour de France winner who then won his 4th Olympic Gold just over a week later and competing in his 4th Olympics The other favourites will no doubt be Sir Chris Hoy for his 5th and 6th Golds in 4 Olympics, Ben Ainslie for his 4th Gold in 5 Olympics and Jessica Ennis who produced personal best performances in the Heptathlon to win Gold

They introduced a task called "plugin-container.exe" to Firefox and it likes consuming processor time. They introduced this task to stop Firefox from crashing when a plug-in crashed. It is possible to disable the task but I prefer the look of 3.6.3

Well done to Andy Murray. Gold in the Men's Singles and he still has the Mixed Doubles to come.

Slip of the finger....... corrected it

2012 just goes to show how much GB has improved since 1996 when we came home with only 1 gold medal..... And yes, Martin, it was in a sitting down sport - Rowing.
-
Team GB has performed poorly in the pool this time around compared to Beijing, perhaps they need to focus a little bit more on the development of swimmers, Cycling have started going into schools looking for kids that have the potential and help them develop. The funding from the National lottery has played it's part in helping TeamGB, They need to continue the funding as it is paying off shown by the results so far.
-
If you take the swimming medals out of the equation Team GB would actually be ahead of the USA - 30 of their 54 medals up until now have come from the swimming events. Well done TeamGB... let's keep it going!!!!

Those graphs are showing 5% CPU usage, probably with Photo Shop running idle and showing 5% CPU usage. My CPU's run at 100% 24/7 running BOINC projects and I have tweaked my systems for stability and performance. I found that downgrading to FF3.6.3 resulted in roughly a 5% performance increase.
-
It's not an issue of RAM usage, it is processor usage. I run Distributed Computing projects which means I am running 6 cores at 100% 24/7 and after Firefox 3.6.3 they introduced some resource hungry tasks into Firefox which had a negative effect on the work unit times of the projects I am running, downgrading to 3.6.3 improved performance. And if your interested I run 2 overclocked AMD Phenom II X6's and run Docking@Home and GPUGRID as my main projects. These projects are involved in the search for cures for cancer and HIV amongst others.

Losing this forum would be a great shame.

And above the Aussies.....
-
I use Firefox 3.6.3... yes,I know it's out of date but it's not as resource hungry as more up-to date browsers and it suits me fine. Have tried up to date browsers and still keep going back to FF3.6.3

And another Thai lass just missed out on the Bronze...

Oh dear....... http://news.yahoo.co...-161445326.html This time the problem wasn't a RR engine, it was a GE one.
-
It is Rolls Royce that found the problem during endurance testing of one of their engines......
-
The problem was discovered to have been a faulty batch of parts supplied to RR by an American company.

A con man.

BigD's stalker has now boosted his rating to +31...... This is making a complete joke of the reputation ratings.

It could be a start-up airline - by the look of their website they are only just starting to recruit. If you have a look on http://www.planespotters.net/Production_List/Country/Thailand it doesn't even show any airline of that name existing..
