Yep, the Boeing fanboys have gone very quiet on the matter and will no doubt claim they were just waiting for us lot to bring up the subject. They have also been very quiet on the slow deliveries of the 7LATE7...... How many have been delivered since September last year? it it 5? And they are still suffering manufacturing problems.....

Well, they replaced the LG HD LCD Monitor with the LED version...... but if this one fails I won't get another LG.

Bulging/leaking electrolytic capacitors is not a new phenomenon, it has been going on for years ......And it doesn't just happen in TVs, and not only Samsungs. It is usually happens as a result of manufacturers using lower quality capacitors. I've lost the occasional PC motherboard to bulging caps, including one made by Asus, one by DFI and one by Abit.

I never holiday during school holidays, and it's late June we will be traveling, so hopefully the Diamond Jubilee effect will be over, and the Olympic effect won't have started for the return flights. What surprised me is that neither Emirates or Etihad were anywhere near being the cheapest for the dates I selected for the quote.

Just been checking prices for a trip in June (for me, my other half and my daughter ) and currently the cheapest option was a out on Swiss and back with Lufthansa........ Not planning on booking til May, hopefully prices will drop before then.

Been stopped twice flying into Swampy and both time been slightly over the allowance. First time got pulled after going through the Nothing to Declare exit and was looking for my taxi driver. After a quick look through my hand luggage they let me go. The second time I had just got off the plane, was walking along the concourse towards immigration when I got pulled for a quick look through my hand luggage.

I have done the bar bit but a change in plans meant pulling out of the bar business....... I do plan to do it again, but it won't be in Pattaya. I'm not gong to leave the UK to live in Thailand whilst my parents are alive, but when I do I'll make my home up north but will make trips down to Pattaya every so often, I also plan to split my time in retirement between the UK and Thailand.
