Both Qatar and Emirates are scheduled to depart after the Etihad flight (35 and 15 minutes later). From my seat I could see the Qatar plane loading at the gate and then been pushed back and then taxing out for take-off.

Entered it for fun as I know bugger all about football, so been quite pleased to not finish last!!!

Well, whilst we were waiting after being pushed back off the gate, I saw the Qatar and a few other terminal 2 flights getting pushed back off the gates and taxing out for take off.... Also the Emirates flight had also left before we did..

I got my flight for £471 and it was significantly cheaper than Emirates for the dates I booked. Emirates must be hurting Etihad with the morning flight. My Etihad flight had loads of empty seats.

BigD has a history of asking other BMs about other places to stay in Funtown but always goes back to the same old hostel. It wasn't intended as a threadfuck.

Flew from Manchester with Etihad 15/5 and the outward flights didn't impress me..... Pushed back off the gate on time but was then held up for over an hour before we eventually took off..... and with a 2 hour layover in Abu Dhabi it meant things were pretty tight for catching the connecting flight. Also found the in-flight service wasn't as good as Emirates. Still got the return flight to do.... hope there is an improvement or I might cross them off my list. Currently staying in the Queen Vic..... love the place!!!

I have worldwide travel insurance that covers me and my family members that is provided by my bank account, which also provides cover me for our mobile phones and full breakdown cover on my cars. Previously I had separate policies for everything but this works out cheaper, and the cover is just as good.

BigDoosa doesn't understand the concept that the fact that with the 7LATE7 being so far behind schedule the cost to Boeing increases with each passing day..... and they still have to deliver to customers whose orders were won by giving massive discounts.... then there is late delivery penalties.... It will take quite a while for Boeing to start making a profit on the 7LATE7..

What a load of twaddle Boeing come out with........ the first delivery is not on schedule... it is years late!!! The 7LATE7 will take very long time to reach profitabilty due to all the cheap deals they offered in order to attract orders for it.

Hope this early closing nonsense has all stopped in 2 weeks time.....

Had planned a trip to Pattaya in the mid 80's with mate, but never got around to booking it...... and is wasn't until 2005 that I finally made my first trip to Thailand...... and have been back many times since, but not always to Pattaya.
