But you do have a choice during Songkran...... you can choose to be, or not to be in Thailand/Pattaya..... Songkran is a Thai festival, and Thais celebrate it how they want to.....

If there is one investment that is guaranteed to make a profit in Pattaya it is the toilet facilities in bar complexes!!! If you want to make money don't invest in bars... invest in toilets!!!

I'm always a regular customer of those toilets when I'm at Cherry Bar....... at least every 15 minutes....

Even if only 10 people an hour went for a piss he'd make a profit. That toilet serves several bars so it is highly feasible...

I wasn't impressed with them as well...

I've suffered back spasms in Pattaya too..... But I always go prepared, I always take my medication with me as I frequently suffer from spasms.

For the dates I wanted in May I got Etihad for £471 each and the Emirates A380 option was coming up at £600 each.... another no-brainer... I went for the Etihad option. Also since Emirates pissed about with the Skywards miles I think Etihad will now be my airline of choice.

Thailand isn't the only place in the world where you have to pay to use toilets........ Where do you think the expression " I need to go and spend a penny" came from???? No doubt the same people whinging about having to pay for toilets are the same guys who whinge about the price of beer and the cost of barfines, despite being willing to pay hundreds of pounds/dollars to fly half way round the world to have some fun!!! whistling.gif

At home I usually eat twice a day.... On holiday I tend to be on a liquid diet, and perhaps only eat a proper meal once a day.

Yep, I got the same email.... but the sad thing is when I put the dates in I have already booked they still couldn't beat the price of £471 I paid through netflights for flights in May - it came up with a price of £530.

Got Firefox 4 on one of my systems, and Firefox 3 on my 4 other systems. Must admit I prefer 3 to 4.
