Got the passport incl. Visa back 4 days later.

PBG food is value for money since it opened. The draft beers are excellent too. The staff is mostly friendly, but sometimes simply does not know of westerners expectations. Last evening my wife ordered fried rice and spicy thai seafood salad, I was not that hungry yet and decided to start with garlic bread. We could see arrive the garlic bread at the kitchen counter, our waitress went there without delay, only to come back without the garlic bread, the other dishes were not ready yet, she obviously wanted to serve all items of the order together. Best draft beer in South Pattaya can be found at Lucky Stars Bar at the corner Soi8/Beach road. If served cold, which is done most times. If the bargirls there are "worthwile" is sort of defintion and personal preferences

I have stayed there for some weeks.Had a two room unit. Very good location, easy access to Tony's Gym, tennis court, Tony' food court, Baht buses to 2nd road. Attentative and friendly staff. Most Apts quite nicely decorated. Units to the rear have no balconies, units to the front are pretty noisy (3rd road). Despite claiming free WIFI, they have not been able to provide a stable signal for the whole of my stay. Top floor is a basketball court. Most of them are living in segregation and prefer to speak Turkish, look Turkish TV, tend to import marriable girls from Anatolia and keep them at home like prisoners. Hi, I am thinking to move to DayNight2. Not that Tycoon is a bad place at all, but I need a reliable Internet-Connection. If there are any problems with it at Tycoon in the morning, there you have to wait till evening until some chap takes care about after his normal workshift. Not acceptable in this price range I think. DayNight2 prices are 30-40 % lower, the place looks quite o.k. Anybody has experience with DayNight 2 ? Thank You
