1800bht including toll so you dont have to pay the toll

Don't wish to rude but this thread was posted by Mr toom and IMHO should only be used to post about his service.

Should you wish to recommend another service I feel sure that we all would be interested to hear of it albeit on a separate thread.

I make these remarks in consideration for Mr Toom who is one of the rare Thais who has taken the time and trouble to post on this "Farang" dominated site, and appears to be providing a top service in this very competative market, and therefore deserves as much support as we can give him! <grin

Sounds fair. Paul/Jan (BM LostinSpace) has a thread about his wife's service and Mr. Toom did start this one. Threads are easy to start if someone has other services to recommend.

I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Toom my last trip Feb 19th this year. I can honestly say he was just as he advertised. Punctual and great service. Highly recommend as he is a nice man as well. I will use him again.

I too was thinking the same thing, being new to the board has nothing to do with it.

Mr Toom,

I arrive in Bangkok on Sunday 2nd April and wish to use your service. I will contact you closer to my arrival with my details.

Thankyou, Alfred.

I used Mr Tooms service in february and i can confirmed he is a very good driver.

He waited for me at the terminal exit with a big sign of my name. He is very friendly, funny and polite. I wanted to stop for pee and buy more beer- no problem. I will always use his service in the future. He is a newbie about computers but a professional driver.

I just returned from a trip to LOS where I hooked up with 6 buddies through the course of 2 weeks, plus played several rounds of golf. I sent the entire itinerary to Mr Toom with sometimes as many as 3 trips on the go. Overall through 2 weeks, we used his services at least 18 times bringing people to and fro and he or his drivers were always on time (actually early) and he did not miss one pickup or have any confusion of any pickups. Excellent service, good price and a class act. I will definitely use Khun Toom again and his great service. He can handle complicated requests and his drivers were all excellent.

Great job Mr Toom! :chogdee

Thanks for the info. Mr Toom is building a bit of a reputation. Looks like he can come up with the goods. I will use him on my next trip. :sorry

Mr. Toom,

I have a very similar question to this one. How much would it be to for a mini-van transfer from Bangkok to Pattaya?

Let me add my voice to those who have spoken well of Mr. Toom's service. I arranged everything via e-mail from the States, and his replies were very prompt. He sent one of his other drivers, Khun Wilat (sp?), to pick me up at Nana Hotel for the trip to Pattaya, and he was there to get me about 15 minutes early. Very nice Toyota Camry that he said was 12 years old but was in immaculate condition. We made excellent time and arrived at the RG in less than 2 hours door-to-door. All in all an excellent value. :livid

To be honest: I was not impressed. My normal sized suitcase (1 piece) did not fit in the boot, as a gas tank was installed. Therefore my luggage was placed on the backseat. Which is in my opinion an unsafe practice.

Furthermore the driver was driving during a substantial part of the trip unnecessarily on the most right side of the 4 or 6 lane highway with a speed of approximately 90 km/hr causing many cars to pass us full speed on our left side ! Also a very long telephone call (with a whispering voice) was made.

Halfway the trip I mentioned that I was getting cold. However, it was impossible to adjust the temperature. I therefore arrived in Bangkok 'cold as cold could be'.

I have sent my comments to Mr. Toom but apparently he has decided not to react.

So your driver was not Mr Toom himself? Do you know the name of this driver? I am thinking of trying Mr Toom's services.
