Just wanted to know if you can buy viagra in Pattaya without a perscription. If so what the cost?

Yes, absolutely no problem at all. In small amounts you are looking at 100B per dose for the generic stuff.

do a search on "viagara" for a previous post on prices and locations. the pharmacy next to Tims beer bar on 2nd road seemed to be about the best price quoted.

Generic penegra and kamagra can be had for 250 - 300 baht for a 4-pack 100 Mg right next door to Tims Bar Beer

I get my generic Cialis there. It also stays open quite late as far as I can recall. :bhappy

There are dozens of Pharmacies in Pats. and they all sell what you want,no script required.

Ned

Most likely you will be sold Kamargra the generic viagra. but then again you could ask for Cavertra,Silagra, zenegra, Levitra or maybe try Cialis or apcalis or Talis.

Why stop at one

Yes you can get it almost anywhere in Pharmacies. If in doubt ask a BG to go get some for you while you wait and have a beer. Very common.

I prefer the generic Viagra, it seems to go to work faster for some reason. Anyone know why? Pop one as I leave the bar and woods raging buy the time I get home. The genuine article seems to kick in after I finish my shower more or less.

Go figure.

This is absolutely not a flame but do you guys who buy over the counter drugs and in particular viagra ever consider you could be buying any old shite at the pharmacy when theres no prescription requested.

(Sure you could get any old shite WITH a prescription)

One dodgy batch with a guy with an unknown heart condition and maybe adios for good to Pattaya.

Surely its better to go up the Memorial,Pattaya Inter or Bangkok Pattaya and get a prescription from the quack and get the drugs from the in house pharmacy ??

You don't need a prescription to buy genuine Viagra. You just have to pay more for it than the generic stuff.

BTW anyone who has a heart condition should not be going anywhere near Viagra.

Before buying anything off the street or pharmacies without a prescription, you may want to do a quick Google search. Type in something like "counterfeit viagra' or even narrow it down a bit with "counterfeit viagra thailand'. You may want to change your mind.

Prefer cialis. Much less side-effect, and longer lasting intended effect. I don't really think there's any more a problem with the counterfeit generic ED meds purchased in a Thai pharmacy than there is purchasing them online. The stuff's not that expensive: purchase a small quantity, and if it doesn't work, go somewhere else. 'Have purchased from pharmacies in both BKK and Patts, and have never encountered any fakes - but have never really made a project out of pursuing the very lowest discount price. If it is a concern, then visit one of the hospitals and get it.

Observe the advice hereabouts concerning heart conditions, of course. 'Have read posts about repeated use causing lower back pain. 'Probably not a good idea to mix with copious amounts of alcohol, at least not on a regular basis. Also, I'm not sure I'd purchase large quantities to bring home - without an actual prescription, immigration could confiscate.

who says these tablets are counterfeit?? the description is generic, which basically means that the original patent, owned by phizer or whoever has expired and then any company is free to make the same drug but with a different name and because they havn't spent billions on r&d they can do so for a lot cheaper.

Totally agree - take Ibuprofen and Nurofen (UK) - one is the base chemical the other is the brand name UK drug. Equate that directly to sildenafil and Viagra

I've taken the kamagra (sildenafil) gel before which is widely available in Pattaya and over the internet and it works just as fine as the branded Viagra.

You must remember that Pfizer (who make viagra) have to make a profit !!

Yes if you buy unlabelled pills in an unsealed pack then that is up to the individual - you pays your money, you makes your choice !!

Viagra is 500 baht per pill. Sold on just about every Soi in Pattaya.

You must be talking about the original Viagra made by Pfizer. The Pfizer propaganda department will tell you that the generic products are dangerous to take. That is absolute bullshit. The generic stuff sold at the pharmacies is no different from their product and it is sold at the fraction of the price.

I like to use Apcalis (a generic brand of Cialis). I use half a 20 MG Tablet and it will keep me functioning well for about 2 days. I pay 400 baht for a packet of four 20

MG tabs in a blister pack at the pharmacy opposite the Lek Hotel, next to Tim Bar Beer on Second Road. I buy four packets at a time to get the cheaper price.

There is no prescription required. :eyecrazy

Dr Gonzo,

You seem to know a lot about these matters so perhaps you might be able to advise...

I have tried viagra & penagra, both bought from the afore mentioned 2nd road pharmacy. Both work well in terms of getting a stiffy and keeping it all night!

Alas, the only complaint being that it becomes harder to cum & the orgasm is les intense.

Has anyone else experienced this inconvenience?

Is cialis better in that respect?

cheers mate!

I’m not a medico but I often get good advice from a doctor friend. Some people have previously mentioned taking Andriol in addition to Viagra, Cialis et cetera, to make it easier to orgasm. My doctor friend has advised against that.

I have the same problem with delayed ejaculations when using the pills. I think the problem is very common. I function normally with the missus back home, when having sex without using the pills. I also think that in a place like Pattaya, with all the available women, one often tries to do too much. Drinking a lot of beer does not help either.

Cheers :D

Florida Guy, I know you said counterfeit viagra and my point is that a lot of what is sold ie kamagra etc is not counterfeit, ie forged/false, they are a generic version that is allowed to be manufactured by other companies as the world wide patent only allowing the original "inventor" of them will have ceased and therefore any reputable manufacturing drug company can produce their own version.

This applies to all drugs once a certain time has elapsed from first release of the drug, possibly around 7 years.

The term of a patent in the U.S. has recently been changed from 17 years to 20 years. Either way that would mean that any generic versions of Viagra or Cialis are in violation of these patents.

"In most countries, including the United States, the basic patent term is 20 years from the date on which a patent application is filed. Until recently the standard patent term in the U.S. was 17 years from the date of the granting of a patent. The recent change aligns U.S. law with the provisions of the Uruguay Round Agreements under the General Agreement of Tariffs and Trade (GATT)."

I am no expert on this (in fact I know bugger all) but a US patent may be irrelevant to other countries. This is particularly true if countries don't have an agreement with the US. If I remember correctly Kamagra gel is manufactured in India.

I believe that some of the very expensive anti-AIDS drugs are currently being produced in Africa in defiance of the patent system.

Samsonite, not saying you are wrong about that patent ruling but the way i understand things, and of course I could be wrong, there is a ruling of some sort to do with patents, certainly to do with lots of drugs, that after a certain time frame other companies are allowed to manufacture the same drug but they must have a different name to the original I.E. viagra----kamagra etc. This certainly seems to be the case here in Australia where you can get a prescription from the doctor and when getting it filled at the chemist you can ask to be given the generic version if there is one available, and this will be cheaper.Strangely enough there is no generic versions of erectile dysfunction drugs available here.
