Whats the best off season bargain?

Recommended Posts

Any suggestions for this one? Its a combination of location, room quality, swimming pol availability and guest friendly attitudes.

I will start the ball rolling with the Eastiny, Soi 8 which was 950B this time last year but I am unsure what it is this.

I like the cheapie rooms at LK Royal Suites. For a month, it cost me 18K plus utilities. The rooms are above average and the beds are much softer than most you'll find in Pattaya. Best of all, you can use the pool, sauna, steam room, and gym in the "nice" building. Unlike the steam room and sauna at the Metropole, these are co-ed.

Try the J&P Hotel. I think it is about 650 baht per night. The place has a pool and the rooms are a decent size. Additionally, they will call you when your love of the evening leaves to make sure that all is ok.

Except for not having a pool, Sky-Top is a good bargain year round. Guest friendly, in room safe, TV, AC, high speed internet cafe and a great location on 2nd Road. I'm staying there now and will do so in the future.

If you can do without a pool and room service, then metro apartments is the best bargain I've come across to date. 550 per night in low season gets you daily maid service, fridge, large TV, in-room safe, balcony and all rooms are above a full-service (quite) bar with free pool and internet. You can order food 24/7 from menus in the room and the best part is the location: right on Soi LK Metro (right next to Soi Diana and Areca Lodge). Lolitas is within walking distance. Other restaurants and bars (and a go-go) are on the soi. Hard to imagine beating this deal

Jasmine Hotel on Soi BJ, 600 baht. New hotel, been open about a year, free wifi, great location a block from Happy A GoGo. No pool, however. Also, get a lower floor because they don't have an elevator.
