Your place looks nice and you may very well get the price you are after but why do you have to put shit on the darkside just to try and generate interest in your condo.

 

There are plenty of nice housing estate over here and you can buy a 2 bedroom townhouse for far less then you are asking for. There are plenty of things to do in this side of the highway and there are a lot of decent people living here to. Most people own a car or motorbike and coming into town is not a problem.

 

I do hope you sell your place but as usual you still believe that Gabor is the most knowledgeable person around Pattaya and no-one else's opinion counts.

 

I don't put shit on the dark side at all... the fact: the prices are fall dramatically to compare with the seaboard side... I must to admit there are really nice houses, projects on the dark side, I visited some really beautyful places... BUT... the traffic is a real pain in the ass unless you drive or have a motorcycle... I'm a coward prick and afraid to drive a car or even a motorcycle...as many others do... On the last season a friend hired a huge and beautiful villa with plans to party... mostly he sat alone home, because the majority found it too complicated to travel there... ( incl. me )

I think you could put the Nirum condos in that category,there are a couple on here that the owner wants ,I think,750,000 baht each or 1.4 million for both one room condos .those places have a not so good reputation.

I have seen the Nirun condos they are just opposite The Shagwell Aussie hotel and bar,and from the outside they are dark forbidding and dirty, so I had no interest in going inside as From the outside I would not stay there no matter how "nice" they were inside.I have no idea why you don't like Gabor and I don't care ,I posted an opinion here that I thought might let some people see what else was on offer so they could make their own mind up.If you look for previous posts about the Nirun condos you will find a few not very complimentary views,none of them by me but read by me from which I formed an opinion having seen the outside.

PS I myself have stayed in some shitty places but that does not make them any better than shitty.

PPS no matter what I have said please don't think this was an endorsement of Gabors place ,as I would not pay that much for his condo.

If i had been ignorant your 'opinion' may well have influenced me..........as it is, i know people who live there and have stayed there myself so i see you for what you are.

 

The place certainly does seem to get negative press (take your pig-ignorant opinion for example ) but this seems to be from the ignorant (no names........lol) or those that realise they have paid big money for their shit / 'good' condos and communities whereas there is much better value to be had

I think the View Talay studios are 32 square meters. that makes the price 45,000 baht per square meter. The Lalana complex on Soi Chaiyapruk is a LOT nicer and prices are less than 35,000 baht per square meter. The studios there are 40 square meters. My Lalana condo is a corner unit and 60 square meters. It is leased out for about another year but if I were to sell it, it would be at about 33,000 baht per square meter. The 40 square meter studios there are livable but just barely. My 60 square meter corner unit has a separate bedroom that is about as big as Gabor's whole place.

View Talay 1 studios are 32 square metres. Those in View Talay 2A, where Gabor's one is, are slightly bigger at 37 square metres.

VT 2 studios range from 37sqm to 48sqm. VT1 are as stated 32sqm.

 

Aren't Niran something like 28sqm ?

 

I wouldn't want one on the 2nd floor but I'd happily invest in VT2 on the upper floors. Unlike some detractors, I lived there for quite a while (on the top floor).

I actually saw a studio condo in View Talay 2 priced at 2.1 million baht the other day. Now THAT is taking the piss!

 

I don't think I've seen a View Talay 2 studio unit at less than 1 million baht.
