Be prepared to pay more for your flight

Recommended Posts

Most of us drive cars and are aware of the ever increasing price of fuel, diesel, petrol gasoline or whatever.

Eva Air have just said that their fuel costs went up 34% in recent times and they have managed to lose 100$ million in the first 3 months of the year.

Clearly that is unsustainable and prices will have to rise soon.

I beat the clock though

Why are flights to Bangkok much more expensive than other P4P destinations?

People will look elsewhere because of the cost of flights.

I was going to fly straight to PP in cambo, but its £500 more to fly there than Bkk. So its probably better for me to spend the 1st and last few weeks of my trip in Bkk and take a £40 flight from Bkk to PP.

Emirates flights are up a bit already.

And Air Asia don't use fuel ????

All Airlines will have to increase prices to stay solvent indeed CEO of Qatar is predicting $200 a barrell by the end of 2008 ???

Over the next coming months you can expect more of :-

a) Airline Mergers

:P Airlines going BUST

c) Large increases in Fuel surcharges

The days of cheap flying are well and truly over.
