I would say two things. Mr T is cheaper, he's 1000 baht from the airport to Pattaya and 900 from Pattaya to the airport. Toon is 1200 from the airport to Pattaya and 1000 (I think) from Pattaya to the airport. The other is accessibility, Mr T has an office located on Soi Diana in Pattaya and Toon is located up in Bangkok.

I don't think either drives and that they are dispatchers who have arrangements with other drivers. Who knows, some of the drivers might even drive for both.

I am arriving at Xmas (20.10.08 )and my flight officially lands at 0610 am, and am

undecided which to use.

I have twice used Mr Toom and the first time he was good, the second

time i could not find his driver and had to phone him and the driver

turned up 30mins later, which is not ideal.

So basically, my choice is Mr Toom, Mr T or Limo Pattaya and i have to

decide which is going to get there to pick me up that early in the morning ??

That's really a crap shoot and no one can predict. If Mr T has someone like myself being delivered to the Airport for the United Airlines flight to Narita then I would say Mr T because he would have dropped off his customer at 5 AM and could have a cup of coffee while waiting for you.

That's exactly what happened the last 2 times I used him. There won't be a 3rd.

Thanks for the good info.

My next trip to LOS is in 11 days but this will be the first time I will go straight to Pats.

Flight gets in at 10pm so it looks like Mr. T for me.

Back to airport will be via Bell Bus though.

Mr T. vs. Mr. Toon?

One collects you from the airport...the other refuses to go to the airport.

It's "Mr Toom"

And that does not help people looking for a taxi.

All taxi firms seem to have good and bad days, none are perfect and that

applies anywhere in the world.

Having said that, i still prefer to pre book with one or other and will soon make

my decision on which one i pick.

Used Mr Toom once and NEVER again. Since then have used Limo Pattaya and tho a bit more expensive they have always provided excellant service.

On my next trip which is Eons away I will be trying Lostinspace if they are still providing a service.

As stated by others no service can be 100% but when it affects you it's time to try alternatives.

Bollocks 2guns

I still have plenty of time to make my decision, and not as if i am counting, but ...

It is 53 days, 3 hours, 0 minutes and 52 seconds
to wheels up 2guns

So i shall keep reading peoples views and then go for one, whichever one it is will

probably be wrong though :P

Emil:

Toon does drive, driven with him twice. Nice guy, but don't use him since he messed up my day once. Mr. T prolly doesn't drive since he had a stroke a few years ago. Some drivers could be the same, as Toon worked for mr T and they still have a relationship.

I used to use mr T always to go back to airport, maybe will try again.

I Have just booked Mr T for a trip from Poomi to Pats next week.

He replied to me in a prompt manner. I'll post on how it goes.

I get in at 10pm so Bell Bus is out of the equation. I will use them for the return trip though.

I've used Mr. T for the last 4 years, for about 30 pickups to and from BKK. Never once did I experience a no show. I've had late, wrong door problems, but with patience (and a cell phone for them to call), always found the driver.

Going from Pattaya to BKK, the drivers have always been on time (or early).

100% success rate with Mr. T.
