"Waterfront"is the name of condo going to be build near Bali Hai pier next to PATTAYA CITY sign

If it turns out as promised then it could be a real landmark and anybody who gets in there now at the lower prices should realise a good investment.

However, it is expensive compared to other projects and I would also be a little concerned about the location. There is going to be a lot of redevelopment at the pier over the next few years.

From what I've read its going to be 50 floors and very exclusive. Also a marina is planned to be built nearby.

So it won't be that close to the sea then, otherwise a building of that height would break the building regulations.

I think those building regulations have changed, one of the Northpoint towers is suspposed to be 54 floors.

Of course I was being a bit cynical..,,, they can always build a big buildings close to the sea if they want... normally between you and your view!

I know you were, I had heard a rumor awhile back that over on the hill new places couldn't be higher than the Royal Family residence.

Always risky when it comes to long term ocean view condos unless you can jump off the balcony into the water...

Don´t worry about it, the building regulations will stop it for sure since the laws, rules and regulations in Thailand and especially in Pattaya are unbendable and no bribes exist!
