Heaven Above's No Camera Policy

This past weekend a number of persons were caught going into clubs and taking videos with cameras other than the usual ones. (See pics below). These items were confiscated by another club owner on Saturday night. There were two falangs and one Asian man caught. Heaven Above was one of several clubs that were on the videos.

 

My guess was some asshole thought it would be fun to do this. It could have been someone with the police. I am not sure if these people realize that the videos can be used by police to close the clubs. I do not think they realize that many people do not want their pictures taken and broadcast on the internet. It would be a shame if a club were to closed and all of their staff lost their jobs because some fuckoff thought he was cute.

Despite I'm fully agree with your point of view your move will be illegal... IF.. If I would be debunked ( never will be as I'm accept the unwritten rules ) I would report to the police about the theft of my belongings and being evil ( revenge ) notice them the content of the recorded files... IMO... much better policy to asking the guilty customer kindly to delete the files and check it.. and a free drink approaching... Your rude act may be beat back to you... You are not an authority licenced to confiscate anything... OK... you can threaten the customer with your thai bulldogs, but still illegal...

This is a rare class of BS that can only be called TOTAL BS. You don't "not return" things to me or 99 per cent of breathing humans, bucko.

 

Heaven Above has the total right to bar photography and bar those it dislikes for any reason at all or for no reason.

Managers or others would spend a LOT of time and probably a fair bit of change if they actually touched any personal property, let alone attempted to seize it, let alone laid hands on the person to whom it belonged to get it. The cops will in general be pretty lenient toward the bars, as the bars pay them. If you were to get roughed up and have your camera taken you'd need to be backed up by Thai witnesses or the cops would simply ask you for proof it happened that you wouldn't be able to provide. Even with Thai witnesses it might not matter, such as if one the bar's security is the son of a powerful cop or other high-placed figure. You never know what you're up against when in a dispute like this; by far the best course of action is to avoid it in the first place.

One of the first bars that I went to when I first visited Pattaya was the Beach club table top dancing bar where girls dance knickerless under short skirts in a very brightly lit room with spotlights on the tables pointing upwards.

 

The girls change tables after every couple of songs.

 

It did cross my mind for a couple of seconds that this would make for a great up-skirt video.

I think you would be given short shrift by the boys in brown if you were to complain about one of the established places on Soi Diamond.... They threatened Barrie enough for taking pictures outside!

Justice would have been done if the cameraman was to be evicted, slightly damaged, including his skin and equipment...after paying his check-bin of course.

 

I once saw some guy trying to surepticiously use his camera phone for up the skirt shots at Happy.... he was dealt with very politely.

 

The innards of a GO-GO are certainly not a public place, you may get away with a cigarette... but not this, deservedly.

Yes but what was the size of video camera 25 years ago. The simple fact that actual film is not needed has shrunk the devices. If you follow the natural progression of things, the glasses pictured would have been science fiction or James Bond 25 years ago, soon it will be contact lens. If the bar owners want to deal with this then maybe they should quit being thuggish about it and deal the reality of the situation. Just for the record I have never understood wasting time filming in a gogo as if you are actually there, why bother? I also have never understood MM's FLB web cam, twittering or other things the web and tech has brought us.

Another thing I don't understand about the net and technology or some of the people that use it. The photo has been put in the public domain so your bitch is with the person who put it there. Not with it being reposted here. Once it is put in the public domain (not copy righted and even then there would really be no remedy) it is out there for ever. Get used to it. It also looks like you allowed the photo to be taken so how does it defame you?

BigD let the image go out there, he is just pissed about how was used, if he would have ignored it, it would be gone by now, he is the one that keeps bringing it up.
