When I rode, I always wore a helmut that was Snell approved. They cost more money but I figured my head was worth it.

Motorcycle accidents are the Thais way of controlling the population. Bwahahahahaha! Then fookin young kids have to get into 4th gear within a 100 feet or they are not happy. I for one get a smile on my face every time I see a young Thai kid that has been hit by a car. It's better if they don't die, then they have to limp the rest of their lives.

Either some people have a death wish, or, they have no brain. A typical accident, I can understand. But from what I've seen, some people have no sense. For example, they'll rent a fast bike, take off at full speed, and damn the consequences. I don't feel too sorry for them when they're splattered all over the road.

A reminder to everyone to wear helmets and dont drink drive, and a tragic waste of two young lives. Dont watch if you have a weak stomach.

I haven't watched this vid', but remember a deer being hit by a car at night and watching steam rise from its spilled guts on the road. 2guns

We all wonder how we are going to die- well I do. Given the choice of laying in a bed for months with tubes and wires all over my body, or dieing instantly on a motorbike, doing something I enjoy. I would go for the bike option. Preferably on a windy country road in summer, by the sea in Cornwall, Devon, Cumbria, or the highlands of Scotland, along that road by Loch Lomond.

In Pattaya, I would pay the extra 80bht to hire a taxi at Mikes, rather than use the M/bike blokey nearby. A low speed fall off one of those, was taken as a warning from above. :beer
