Greek Food in Pattaya Now Available

Recommended Posts

Just Souvlaki? Nothing else?

Hardly deserves the title of Greek Food if that's all they've got. But thanks for the info anyway.

Cheers

Why ??

If you want Greek food the best place is a I suppose Greece.

But I wouldn't recommend it.

I have flown on Olympic Airways.

So based on this purile reply one should only eat the food that is common to the country you are in?

In other words you only eat Thai when in LOS?

:D

I love souvlaki and Greek Salad(Feta cheese),so will check it out on my next trip.

Here's an article i found on Pattaya Daily news.com about the place

I agree Greek Salads (authentic per Greece) are my favorite, hopefully this guy can make these up the way they did in Athens.

My thoughts also, there is a turkish restaurant in Patts that have a wider menu and the food is similar.

So Gabar is Harris Black? Doesn't look like him in the photo in the Pattaya Daily News (OK it does a bit)

have you only just figured that out? 2guns

Why? have you seen the menu Dave?Apparently(according to the pattaya news link anyway) the owner is a Greek National so i'm assuming he'll have other Greek Dishes on the menu.I'm sure someone who has been there can let us know if the menu does...Whereabouts is this Turkish Restaurant? would like to check that out too.

Druid,

I followed the link you provided and saw no mention of any other Greek dishes being available. You would think that Paul(authentic Greek name, that) would have taken the opportunity to advertise his menu, assuming, of course, that the opportunity was presented.

Anyway, you can post comments on the article so I have asked if there are any more Greek dishes available. Don't know if Paul is reading the comments, though.

Interestingly, the person who posted a comment before me claims that Paul's is not the first Greek restaurant in Pattaya and that he was doing Souvlakia at Jimmies Bar in 2001.

What we need is a BM to "Take on for the team" and investigate more thoroughly than the writer of the article. Any volunteers?

Cheers

A similar post on Thai Visa says that they only serve that dish but the owner is hoping to extend his menu, sounds good.

Yeah maybe he will extend his menu once he's been open a bit longer(by saying that i'm assuming that he hasn't been open too long).

Do they have Gyros?... I have been craving a Gyros sandwich for a long time now

Isn't that like shwarma? Chicken or lamb on a pita bread rolled with all sorts of gook?

Corner of Marine Plaza...
