KINGFISHER AIRLINES

Recommended Posts

we have been looking for cheap flights to bkk in october and have come across kingfisher for £450.

okay, i know thats not the cheapest as we have seen oman for £350-£400.

just interested in any b/ms views on kingfisher as i have never heard of them before

i believe that they are an indian company.

after info on: planes they operate, ife, food, free bar?, airports for stop overs(any good?)

Dont think you're going to get many (if any) reviews on the LON-BKK route as this is a new routing for Kingfisher but as stated they are 5 star rated so unlikely you'll be disappointed ?

Pretty much likely to be cheaper fares as they buy brand loyalty.

The concern is to transit in Mumbai.....

If you are starting your journey in London, why transit at all? Eva seems to be the best choice.

Might be a consideration for smokers who need the break!

Allright if ya dow mind sittin next to a smelly cunt for fuck knows how many hours :D

Their average seat occupancy is 60% so there are reasonable odds that the seat next to you will be empty.

Anyway, who wants to sit next to you. 2guns

Glyn.

A late note on my flight.

Excellant aircraft and service. but the change and security at Mumbai was annoying.

Just about to go under financially according to reports over weekend. 64 aircraft fleet, with 21 currently being cannabilised just to keep remainder in the air....

I have flown with Kingfisher twice. Nice clean new planes, although the Mumbai to BKK leg is a smaller A320? a little crampt but only a short hop relatively to BKK from there. The food was excellent along with metal cutlery.

Funny story on one of my return trips home from BKK the plane had a critical fault and the flight was cancelled awaiting repairs, we were ushered off the aircraft. At this point I was thinking Sh*t my connecting flight! Well to my surprise they transferred all of us bound for London onto a Thai Airways flight direct which was leaving within 30 mins! Happy days!
