Over the past couple of games it is true, England have started the games slowly . But what you have to remember is this, they were friendlies, of which we won by the way, all they were was a chance for the mananger to see players have a run out, so that he can decide on his starting 11. Nobody wants to get injured so close to the World Cup. We have already lost Beckham to injury, then Ferdinand.

 

But I reckon, after Capello ranting to the players at half time in the last game, I'm betting England will come out firing. The importance to start well will give them the fire they need.

Sums up what i meant better than i did. Assemblies are toys given to the celts by the English to keep them quiet in their cots, and taken away when they throw tantrums.

 

As for the game, it was what i excpected apart fromt the obvious howler. I think both England and the yanks will still qualify, though winning the group is important as i believe the runners up come up against the Germans in the round of 16. Too early in the competition for that shit.

 

From an England point of view, the stupid bookings are a comcern. I'd bring in Joe Hart for Green (which he won't, he'll bring in James), drop Heskey and push gerrard up to play off Rooney (which he won't), play cole in midfield and use Peter Crouch from the bench every game, for whoever, but sooner rather than later! Easy this football management thing aint it?

 

That's right, what kind of a bizarre system is that? And those country parliaments can be dissolved at the pleasure of Whitehall, at least the one in Northern Ireland which was dissolved once, am I right?

 

Back to the game. It sure sucks to be a goaltender. Nobody remembers you except when you fuck up. Come to think of it, sounds like every job I ever had.

I think the English fans are too down today. USA beat Spain in SA last year and were 2-0 up against Brazil in the final.Not a bad team at all. England looked dodgy under high ball though. Terry and King disappointed me.
