I wish him luck, sadly a good reputation takes years to build but can be knocked down in minutes.

I to wish him good luck, he is going to need it.

To be honest @ the Bt.500,000 that Bob was asking for the place I thought it was well priced and for a few moments was actually considering it.....

Well, I do not know much of your financial status/ age etc, but for me Thailand would never be a place to do business. I admire the courage of someone starting up here, but sometimes courage isn't the word.

Did someone not mention that it sold for 2 mil?

What ??

Bob was advertising it for 500k.

I remember. But I'm sure I read on the other thread that he paid 2 mil. None of my business, but I like to keep up with LK prices as I looked at a place there before. ( saying that before people flame us for discussing it  )

We asked while waiting a full five minutes for the two girls to figure out how to give us change. Trust me, we asked, and were told he wasnt' there.

Read your post #18 again. Fair enough, at least you have ate there and have reason for complaint. I hope you told him of your concerns at the time so he can fix the problem. If he doesn't fix it to your standars, fair enough don't eat there.

i assume you're just talking about the bar/resturant businesses? Thailand is a great place to do other businesses ; just supporting the bars would be great. i would love to run a booze supply business ; still be around the girls but without the hassle of the bar logistics.

Not specifically, no, I am not.

If you are more interested in being around the girls I doubt you would have the necessary focus to succeed.

One great thing about this forum is the depth of experience. Whilst I like "Mexican" food I am totally unsure what its really supposed to taste like as I have never been in the area. I therefore like hearing what you guys have to say about this type of food. I assume that you have a real familiarity with the cuisine and if the consensus is that its good I will visit if you tell me its crap then I wont. Like others here I visited the Cantina on Soi 7 just once and knowlege or none I never went back.

Good luck Dale. I have been into your "new" restaurant every time I am in Pattaya and I enjoy it.

I was just in Pattaya for a week and ate there three times. The hamburgers are quite good and other customers seemed to be enjoying their meals also. The chicken fried steak was excellent but the mashed potatoes and green beans that were with it definitely need some improvement. I'll be going back the next trip.
