I never believed in the " dress nicely and you will get more attention " crap, my usual uniform for the hunt was for years : t-shirt, capri short and leather slippers... However a year ago a mate introduced me the extremely ugly Crocs slippers... and I became an addict... Because of the really good material, the slippers merge in your feet following a short time and become the best and more comfortable feet wear you can imagine... still now I own 12 pairs of them...and usually I wear nothing else... even in the colder times in the EU... I have the winter design too..

My only problems with it: they are remarkably ugly and despite the originals are quite expensive, and the cheap sweating copies looks the same...and it seems, the option for the cheapos uniform.. Visiting the bars on my last winter trip with my live in I don't gave a flying fuck about the strange views on my footwear... but my next trip will be a hunting one...

What do you think??? Wear an original pair of Crocs will be a disadvantage ???

In Europe, maybe. But in Pattaya, you'd better be wearing pants, at least shorts -- and preferably a shirt. Public nudity is against the law.

I would wear a pair of pants in colder weather if I were you.

In Pattaya Gabor not only do they not give a shit what shoes you wear but not even if you have two feet to place in them ! As you probably know well all that counts is the wallet !! lol

False.

Many Gogo bar girls have commented to me that they chose to go with me because I was dressed smart, wearing nice shoes, in fact, several different ladies told me 'the shoes' is the first thing they look at. One of the reasons I asked some of these girls why they chose to go with me and not someone else in the bar that night was because it was approaching high season, bar was packed to the rafters and they all had many customers to choose from, so curiosity is what made me ask.

I've seen it first hand too, I remember wearing trouser, smart short sleeved shirt, and some decent shoes one night and a scruffy looking fellow next to me wearing tatty t-shirt, shorts and running shoes that looked about 12 years old was bragging how little he pays, yet when he called over dancer #1 that we were both eyeing, she I heard her tell him 'no I don't like you, I like him', pointing at me, which wiped the smug look off his face, he stayed on talking to other women but they all refused him, he left empty handed, but he did look that scuffy you could be forgiven for thinking he was sleeping rough lol.

Do not make the mistake of thinking my post is stating the women are 'somehow impressed' by smart attire, maybe they are, maybe they aren't, what I'm actually saying is that these women DO JUDGE a customers money potential off appearance, similar to the fact that Thai's see fat people as people that can 'afford to eat'.

That is why your statement is false.

Got crocs for wearing in the house. Wouldn't wear them outside.

Are they all plastic? They make your feet sweat.

The copies made from plastic or rubber and indeed make your feet sweat... The originals made from caoutchouc and never made my feet to sweat... ( I never believed before )

Not having spoken to or been in conversation with the ladies on the subject I can only comment on my observations of what I have seen. I myself wear a mix of short sleeved shirts and t shirts and have worn a mix of crocs sandels or indeed trainners not the kind referred to and always make good use of the shower probably up to 5-6 times a day. In otherwards I dont look scruffy and I have never been refused and never overheard or witnessed such conversations or actions. I am not saying it doesnt happen as its always in my thoughts as to how hard their money is earned by having to go and have sex of whatever kind sometimes with aged and over weight balding maybe ugly man just for the sake of a few pounds.

Well I might go along with the possibility a TG interprets a well dressed person with an affluent one. But I have also seen plenty of girls go off with scruffy guys. I woulldn't put too much weight into a one-off event with a scruff who also happened to be a cheap charlie. I still believe the girls go for someone with a smile and a well padded wallet.

I recall some half wits on this very board going on about buying local deodorants, as the girls preferred the smell and would be more likely to go with you! :uh-uh:

Yes, I'm sure the a-go-go girls are checking for Bally shoes, Brooks Brothers shirts. I can tell by the guys I see them with. I certainly believe in lots of showers and dressing nicely but I also believe (by years of observation) the girls do not give a shit as long as the price is right. I don't dress to impress the bar girls.

Perhaps you are right.

Something occurs to me though. For years I have said to friends I could care less for sexy lingerie, "just does not excite me, but I like it because it excites them".

What I mean is: Lingerie really does not do much for me. I like the babe, not the wrapping.

However: I have noticed over the years that lingerie seems to excite the girls themselves. Excites them and gives them a confidence and a boldness. Which can be very appealing.

Perhaps dressing well gives us guys a confidence.............and there is no doubt that chicks, generally speaking appreciate a confident man.
