I backed the wrong Ulsterman to win the open but I was delighted to see Darren Clarke do the business today with such style

and class.

 

BigD (the real bigD, not that lying cretin that lives on this board!) gave a great speech with genuine humidity.

He displayed a great temperament & deserved everything he gets after such an eventful last few years.

Yes JK. bigD is the first to acknowledge that. He was actually due to start a weight watchers course at the urging of his manager Chubby chandler already a super sized individualist himself but he has reluctantly postponed the dieting until the excitement dies down & he runs out of Guinness ( what a godsend the last few days has been for Guinness shareholders !!)
