Well you are right, I look less like Brad Pitt, than you do Brad's shit. However the baht in my pocket usually pulls me through. I'll answer your question though. Soi LK has no decent food, no live music, no freelancers, or air-con bars. No braless Russian girls walking by. No Americans, Canadians, or Australians. Not one of the gogo's is as big as Misty's, as fun as Babydolls, or as runty as Xzone or Windmill. If we were to pick any one of Misty's, Sapphire, Heaven Above, Roxy, Peppermint, Silver star there would be more stunners in any one of them, than all of Soi LK, there would also be more topless ladies than all of Soi LK, not to mention more fully naked ladies than all of Soi LK. Should I even mention the amount of attention that a man would receive in any one of them, compared to all of Soi LK?

 

While Martin mentioned Sugar Sugar, I don't consider it a gogo, but more of a Club Blue without windows, where fun, and entertainment is dished out in minute quantities, along with a large check bins. Since they are both owned by the same people, we couldn't really expect any different.

 

You mentioned one of the new gogo's being owned by the same people as Kiss, that's the gogo where the average age is even higher than TQ, or the now defunct TQ2. If the girl you want, won't barfine, you can have her mother, because she works there too.

 

LK is not on the Beach Road, Second Road Baht Bus run. We have to pay 100 baht or more to get there, then again again going back. It is convenient for the the Cheap Charley retired expat that lives in the Soi Bukaow area. Although they will pay the same price for a San Miguel, Breezer, or Rum and Coke as a walking street gogo. Let's not mention that their rent is a fraction of walking street, by the signs, Soi LK pays the ladies much less, and they pay the same price for their alcohol as walking street. Nice that somebody is making a good profit off of us.

 

The only good thing I can say about Soi LK is, once you get bored to tears, you can walk to Oasis agogo, or Buffalo Bar from there. I can however see why you would push Soi LK. After all, you own part of a bar and guest house there. In reality though, men going from gogo to gogo are not going to spill out and go into a non air-con open bar that has no ladies available, or even other customers to talk to. You should look into hyping your own bar on it's own merits. Not the Soi. Even if that means coming up with some marketable merits. I would have pulled some punches and not been so honest and blunt, except that you don't. You have to expect to get the same as you give. So, go ahead, put me to shame !!

I have just returned home after spending two months in Thailand. I stayed for a week or so in Soi LK at the beginning of the trip and another week at the end. I often visit the gogos in Soi LK because they are very handy. I noticed a big improvement in 2 months.

2 months ago: A few topless ones and I think some were knickerless but as there is not much light in there it is often a bit hard to tell. I can never understand why in gogos where they dance on tables with inbuilt upward shining lights they only have the lights on about 10% power so you can't see anything. What do they think we go in there for?

2 weeks ago: every second or third dancer was naked (some were wearing shoes).

I have heard reports of some very interesting happenings in Champagne but I never seem to be there at the right time so I do not go there much. It is the only one that does not seem to have changed. On my last visit they also had a naked lagy covered in luminous paint show and again you could not see anything. On this visit I was sitting on a stool very close to the stage and I can report that the dancers in short skirts were in fact knickerless but you could not see all the much because of the poor light.

 

While I am in the writing mood a comment about Casanovy in Walking Street.

2 months ago: 4 or 5 naked ladies on the central stage at all times. On tables around the sides, ladies with short skirts (some topless) with no knickers, I think. Some of these go to a lot of trouble to make sure you do not see anything so it is hard to tell.

2 weeks ago: 4 or 5 naked ladies on the central stage and naked ladies on the side tables as well. When their stint was finished they were replaced by ladies in short skirts, some topless.

One last observation about Casanovy: Each of these side tables have 4 upward shining lights which are also only on about 10% power so they don't do much. When the naked lady on my table was replaced by the one in the skirt and top she promptly covered 2 of the lights with check bins to make it even harder to see.

LK is my area of choice, I have stayed there at various GHs, Irish Rovers, Club Blu, The Rock House, being an oldy I am not so keen on the agogos but I love all the bars, nice to have a couple of electrolites in the Drunken Duck to put some salts back in to the system during the afternoon.

 

After my last stay on LK I found it a tad noisy, must of been a week where there was a lot of parties going one, November I am Soi Lengkee so within striking distance of the LK.

Thats a fair appraisal, the food in Stags head is very good indeed and the Golf Club is sound also, sling in the little Thai hole in the wall in the wall round the corner on Bukao and there is decent choice.

 

There are differing type bars also, not sure why people slag it off as you can find what you want there, walk out of LK get a baht bus to Walking St.

The highlight of my rather boring visit there was one of the customers who got up and danced near me. He was pretty good.

 

 

 

I usually stay in Soi LK Metro. Can't complain, has everything I need either on it or very near by.

 

It's easy to get everywhere from there but a tiny bit harder returning because you don't know which route the Songtaew is going to take.

 

If you're going to Walking Street you can get a Songtaew from opposite Club Blu. That will take you to the School on Patt Tai.

 

Going North? Get the Songtaew from Club Blu and it will either turn right up second road or go all the way down Klang and left down Beach Road. Pot luck. Just ring the bell and jump off. 10 Baht, big deal.

 

A 3 minute walk down Soi Diana and you're on Second Road.

 

10 Baht ride home at night from Walking Street or 50 on a Motocy. 100 if your Tilak is on the back. Easy fuckin peasy.

 

10 min walk to Beach Road, maybe 15 if you're a fat bastard. Go for it, lose a few kilos.

 

5 min walk to the junction of Chayaphoon/Third Road and you have some of the best Chinky style Thai food in Pattaya (imho) cheap as anything, aloy mak mak.

 

You can even go to the Rockhouse where you can choose your own selection of MP3s on the PC Jukebox

Hi. My friend has go back home now and as I am not sleepy I decided to make a small report right now, with fresh memory.

 

So many posts recently "to the glory of Soi LK agogos" that I decided to make myself a new visit of the area.

I first made a global visit of the Soi. Very quick and easy: the Soi is barely 200m long. At 8:30pm it was very quiet, but probably a little bit too early? Many bars, and many ladies waiting for customers but not one attractive enough (for me) to make me stop there. So I tried a few agogos :

 

Edit: I first mention that my "type of girl" is rather thin, petite (small/short) and around 20-22 yo. A flat stomach is my main criterion; a very selective one at Pattaya! Some members can think that I am very demanding, but as long as I will find such ladies I will not change my criteria, and until today I often find ones.

 

Kiss & Submarine agogos: I skipped. Really to bad in my last visit and in recent reports.

 

Office: 4 customers inside. A few ladies with customers; a few ones siting near the DJ; many others in their back area where we can't see them. 5 ladies dancing standing on the central stage. I don't know their age but surely most are 30 yo+ and I would not be surprised is some of them are 40 yo... Can be a place for you if you like large (but not fat) ladies (not girls). I anyway spotted one coyote with flat stomach and long nice legs, but clearly not in a fun mood. Not a place were I will come back soon.

 

Champagne: Very different. About 2/3 full of customers, but looks like a place where guys come in small groups of 2 or 3 to talk to each others and drink cheap drinks in a special environment. Not many customers seem interested in girls company, let alone in barfine.

Line up is pleasant. Nothing to do with Kiss or Submarine. No small/short ladies, no really young ones, but several nice "standard" ladies that certainly must often get BFed in this Soi. A few ones who like McDo too much but a few thin ones too . Problem is that with so many customers, ladies that I spotted already had a customer + ladydrink...

PS: Only 1 lady change at each song on the main stage. So you would have to stay a very very long time if you want see all ladies. (I rarely choose a lady who sits because you can't see well her body).

 

MASH: An evident lake of ladies, and of customers. 5 ladies on the central stage. 4 behind the entrance door and... 2 who look rather nice and young but who stayed chatting together the whole time I was there, and who clearly were not interested by the present customers... including myself. . They have 2 older ladies with horrible stretch marks. Not their fault, but I will never understand that some agogo hire them as agogo dancer

 

Sugar Sugar: Nice surprise . The best line up I saw this night is Soi LK area. Many slim ladies; many flat stomaches; and not one "miss jumbo" in view. Only 5 customers when I entered but 15 minutes later at least 15. About 20 dancers and a 10 hostesses, + the ones outside. Ladies dance by groups of 6 or 7 on a central stage. The agogo is new, nice, confortable.

But is it an agogo? (see discussion with MM on page 2). This night the most common outfit was the "school girl" uniform. A white top or white knotted shirt, a mini-skirt (or even mini-mini-skirt ), panties, bra. A few ladies were in large bra + gold short. No nudity (but I left early ~9:20pm). I observed that the long window is still there but with a very very dark glass; you can probably not see much from outside now. It's like a agogo but outfit are more of a coyotes club... So I don't know.

PS: Dancers wear a badge with their nickname, their #number and the mention... "coyote"...

I got a nice (but too short) time here and certainly will come back. I noticed they have a party this Friday if you like that.

 

Oasis: Nearly 9:30pm but looks short of ladies. Maybe 12. Here no surprise: many ladies target older men... Anyway I saw 2 in the thin category and 2 typical Isaan girls who seem to be very fun ones. Next to me a lady in plain clothes was very attractive, but not sure if she is a dancer or if she came here with a customer. .

One of the thin dancers was very tall, topless, buns and kinky eyeglasses. She looks for me more like a Russian lady than a Thai or Isaan one. Attractive... because of the difference? I wonder if she is the one Gabor thought was a ladyboy. Could easily be, but seem she really is a lady. #88, her name is Ann but we didn't find many thing to say to each other...

 

 

Remarks:

- the place is still small. Not so many attractive ladies in absolute. If you did not find "your" lady in visiting your 3 best agogos of Soi LK (because not here or BFed) you will have to find somewhere else with more ladies...

- all agogos are small too. I would bet no more than 30 dancers present at one time in each. By comparison Baccara on Walking Street has 100 dancers present most night! (60+ downstairs, 40+ upstairs)

- dancers are "ladies" there; I didn't see even one "spinner" (small young happy one)

- not cheap; my soft drink in all places (except Sugar Sugar) was 85 baht. Rather expensive for happy-hours. Looks like Soi LK is mainly for alcohol drinkers. On Walking Street I use to pay 45-65 baht my orange juice during happy-hours.

- Sugar Sugar is a nice addition; it was the cheapest one too: 65 baht soft drink although no more in happy-hours; a place where I could have take a lady tonight and where I will come back soon .

 

Conclusion:

Globally I could probably put Sugar Sugar and Champagne in my Top15 (maybe Top10?) of Pattaya agogos but no way that any agogo of Soi LK area could (today) be in my Top5.

Many recent posts looks to me more like advertisements than objective reports. Statement that Champagne is the #1 can only come from someone who never visited Walking Street top agogos

All reports are more or less unfair. A bad or average agogo will one day become a good one for someone just because it now got a lady that he likes , and will become average again if/when she moves...

 

As for myself I compare with the agogos I used to go : Fahrenheit, Shark, Baccara, Sapphire. The "snobbish bars" to me are the ones like Iron, Airport, What's Up and I very rarely visit them.

 

About Sugar Sugar... yeah I mentioned I was there only a few seconds, because a non smoking bar....

Oh yes! I forget to mention yet this other good point in favor of Sugar Sugar: no bad tobacco smell inside. .

The smell and "fog" in Champagne is very unpleasant...
