Well, no thanks. I've got enough people disliking me with out having to work at it. Just playing devils advocate here. If we have a name for one, we should have a name for the other. Makes it easier to keep track of that way.

Hmm... usually people start to not like me, when I call them losers, fools, dupes..when they acts so... and some don't care my comments, when I try only to winding up.. but they are sure, they are right....nice replies .. to discredit my winding ups... ( one example: idefix ) . .the guys feel guilty, forget the detail I call myself the same when i'm guilty to act the same.... and I do, but I admit it.... No one is perfect, we all do loser, dupe, fool steps... But some can't admit it and better to pretend being proud to be a fool, loser, dupe .... and start to explain the reasons....The funny part is... they usually call the " face thing " a thai thing...

Can you give an example of a very old post of Gabor's that didn't deserve to be given a minus vote? If it was being done on a big scale, it shouldn't be hard to find such an example.

If Gabor's rep rises by 150 points in a matter of days when he hasn't been posting, does that also prove a conspiracy, especially when two BM's have admitted they had engaged in vote padding? I'll answer that myself: no, it doesn't. Like the negative votes, the positive ones simply reflect that individuals with no connection to each other have reacted to his posts in a manner they deemed appropriate.

I doubt there are many board members who hate Gabor. No one has ever suggested that Gabor doesn't have the right to his own opinion or that he shouldn't express it. It's the MANNER in which he does it that's come in for criticism and negative votes. Every time Gabor is hard pressed, he resorts to name-calling and insults to divert attention from his inability to defend his position. He also harps incessantly on the whole LDOP spiel, which sets the stage for negative reactions.

 

Properly given, advice is about new or missed opportunities, not lambasting people for choices they made in the past. Give advice politely and it will be taken politely. Criticize and condemn people for the choices they make and many BM's will register their disapproval through negative votes. It's not more complicated than that.

 

The "don't-pay-the-girls-too-much" posts are often condemnation, not advice. It's one thing to write, "You don't have to spend more than 1,000 baht to get pretty girls, especially if you throw in a bowl of duck soup," and another to write, "It's mental cripple lame dupe losers like you who are spoiling the girls, driving up prices and ruining the scene for everyone by paying more than I do."

 

The first is advice, the second is condemnation and dictating. Pattaya Talk needs more of the first and none of the second.

In other cases, it's probably a combination of dislike for Gabor's opponents coupled with showing support for Gabor's notion of paying the girls as little as possible. Gabor's supporters will most certainly have voted for his trip reports/go go reviews, which is entirely legitimate. But they want to show solidarity with him by giving him even more votes and there simply aren't enough TR/reviews on which to spend 10 or 20 plus votes a day. So they turn to ancient posts and/or nonsense threads with a lot of short posts by Gabor that they can click through quickly to use up their votes.

 

A few may even be protesting what they (incorrectly) feel is the unfairness of the rep system by vote padding. They hope all the silly games will cause MM so much trouble he'll be forced shut down the rep system, but that's not going to happen. If the vote padders can't take a hint, MM could always start "disenfranchising" them.

 

But I have to compliment jjprodigy on his honesty. So far he's the only "vote padder" who's come clean. As I said before, the others lack the courage of their convictions.

No, the ancient posts I looked at more than suggested that jjprodigy was using his quota daily to up Gabor. (He has outed himself).

Quite indicative that his full +ve quota could not overwhelm the negatives Gabor could generate from others himself.

I don't grasp why any would protest the rep system by abusing it, but I suppose I left my infant mentality behind with my bandy wobble walk.

I've heard of some bizarre behaviour , but going back 9 years to vote for a stranger who got negative votes for mentioning baby boiling , attacks families, girlfriends , mothers, rotting flesh TGs, etc, is as mad as the burglar that shagged the dog lol. I guess they believe Saint Gabor was unjustly thrown of the other forums as well. He is just an innocent guy! I second Evils request that the Gaborettes post some examples of him getting lots of negative posts for us Gaborphobics ( that for you LD ).
