Saw a notice that the Provincial Electric Authority now has a location for the payment of electric bills on the first floor of the Royal Garden Plaza open 1100-1900.

Any 7/11 will do also

Past a certain date you have to go to certain centres. A motor taxi driver will know the closest.

Ask them for automatic direct debit on your account

and you will never fear again to forget to pay it ;)

Yes I know many who do that, but I have shied away from doing it. I heard once that they are difficult to cancel, you would need the permission of the Electricity Authority. So the 7-11 for me, despite the 10 baht charge! :D

Save 3 baht and Go to any Lotus supermarket (only 7 baht there)

Good idea, and in 4 or 5 years I will have saved enough for a beer in a GGB.....or maybe not, as who knows what the price will be by then.

Hi. From what I saw this office just opened. There is new temporary signage on ground floor and first floor. This new office is on 1st floor in the left-back aisle from the top of escalator, near Swensen's entrance.

You can pay your bill and register/change contracts. No more need to go to North Naklua :)

The office is on Pattaya Klang, but i pay at 7/11 or big c extra.Got one now, 1,700 baht, anybody want to pay for me lol

Cheap, just paid mine, B2300, less than normal, likely the cooler weather here.

Paid at 7-11 cos it is easier.

I know Bangkok Bank has some facilities for paying utility bills using Internet Banking, but it appears to be just for Bangkok.

Well I have also been in the UK for slightly over 3 weeks.......but of course the pool pump still needs to run and it seems the TGF still requires AC.....and there is a stream of visiting relatives who wouldn't dream of using an AC in their own homes but do at mine!!!! And the damned TV is never off with her mother here getting in the way on the floor!

just went to my online bank account and they only have one electric company registered for online payment, MEA Metro Elect Authority which only serves Bangkok, why on earth in this modern day and internet age would an electric authority not have online payment available, welcome to Pattaya I guess...

Because "your" bank does not list it on its website doesn't mean that the electric company does not offer it...

As for myself in Pattaya I subscripted to the "automatic payment":

The counter reading is made around the 18th of each month

and the payment is taken from my Kasikorn account about the 11th of the following month.

Work perfectly and no more worry with bills to pay when not present in Pattaya.

True, I use the same method.... However it isn't an easy process and take 1-2 months until start to work....

Try cancelling it when you move!

I just go to the 7-11 and pay it.

Try cancelling it when you move!

Someone in my condo recently made it :

1- Go to Electric company office in Royal garden and fill the form "case of selling your home". They fill it for you, you just need to show transfer papers you get from the Land office

2- Go to your bank and ask to cancel the automatic payment from the Electric company (after your last payment taken!)

Done :)

Really, has your friend determined that it is indeed cancelled yet?

The reason I mentioned it was that the bank will not cancel the Direct Debit unless the Electric Authority first agree to it.

Oh I know they are pretty quick to come take the meter if the bill isn't paid.

Houses too.

I thought you subscribed to 'automatic payment'......
