New Jomtien beach Studio

I am curious if the pictures on the website are the actual condo for sale. They look like a show condo taken from the sale office website. The pictures show a nice condo that does not look like it has been lived in atall. No pictures or photo frames etc

Yes big mick, the picks are of the actual condo. Yes, no one has lived there. If you saw the display condo, it does not compare in material or pricing. It was actually for my mother to live in, but we put her in a small townhouse instaid. Didn't put pictures up as everyone wants to complete to there own taste. Are you a buyer or just someone that likes to comment? If your a buyer, ask for an inspection.

Only 65,000 a sqm good luck with your sale.

Thankyou for the good luck on the sale. That is what its worth. But as I said in my ad, I would except a reasonable offer.

Uh? Do you really think someone can "live" in a 26 sqm apartment ?

Sound to me as a holyday place for week-ends or 1 week stays max.

PS: Yes Thais probably can do that ;) but Farangs ?

Yes im a buyer and i have bought a good few properties in and around Pattaya, there have been "sellers" advertise on here before and have advertised complete bullshit, so i noticed how "clean and new" it looked. I therefore asked a question to which you have sarcastically replied. I like to comment as this is an open forum, its what people do on here :allright Good luck with your sale, you are gonna need it.

I just redid my bedroom here at home with wood flooring. It is larger than this whole apartment.

Sell the cat. There's not enough room to swing one.

Is this all that $58,000 buys in Pattaya/Jomtien?

I apologise to the seller in advance. This advice is for new buyers. Maybe the most important thing is to make sure that you can have the unit in your name. Secondly is to not buy a shoe box sized unit. I know that a one bedroom unit will cost you a lot more but it is well worth the extra money especially if you have a girlfriend or wife living with you. If you are a single guy and intend to live alone, you could get by with a studio. Even at that, 26 square meters is very small.

Gary, you are absolutally right. I also could not stay permanently in a small room. As it states in the first post, it is in Thai name, & their are many Thais that buy & just come for weekends & they are also reading these forums, also the russians & other lolidayers dont have any problem shortterm in that size unit. This unit was designed for an old lady (mum), that is more than what a housing unit gave her in Ozz. I also know a few Farang investors that buy thai name units & put them into companies, then the return is more on your investment. In foreign name this unit would get 2 mil. The Condo office is always asking if I will rent it out as they do rent these well, but I prefer to sell in new condition.

Several weeks in a nice hotel.

I thought for around 2 Million Baht there were condos larger than a small hotel room.

Yes, you can get bigger condos for around 2 mil baht, maybe 30 sqm in that area.

I'm not asking for 2 mil, I am asking for a reasonable offer. I have had some offers, close but not close enough.

That's a good price for the size for sure. You sould post your own ad for sale.

But you are looking at comparing yours in a complex of 1000's of rooms with bad facilities on a gay beach (no offence given to gay people), you cannot compare these 2 developments at all.

But this is a public forum & I'm sure the right person will buy your studio. Good luck with your sale.

You say ( No offence given to gay people ) so why did you give reference to a gay beach in your post...? .

I am not gay myself , but i know of many people in Pattaya that are and i think they would be extremely offended by your remarks...!.

Also does this mean that if you are a hetrosexsual you should not buy a condo in a " Gay Area ".....?

Not thousands of rooms, maybe 7-8-900... good to share the common fees.... BTW, how much the annual common fees in this condo ??

The gay beach was true a few years ago... not nowadays...

I can compare the sq metre prices, ( the comfort level... this condo was designed for the lame russian newbies... ) the location ( your condo is far away in the nowhere on Jomtien )

BTW agree.... I polluted your business offer....sorry for that...but offering a shoebox on thai name for extraorbitant price ... made me think, you are a hidden real estate agent, try to fool the less experienced members ....not a real poster...

You are right: Can't compare: VT5 is "on the beach" while yours is not... ;)

2 points why I will never buy an apart like yours :

- way to small

- the vis-à-vis ! Be constantly spied on by neighbors is just unbearable.

I like being "free" in my room, not having a chat with people in opposite building...

Gabor: VT5 complex is nearly 2'000 aparts AFAIK ;)

Gay people can act and do as they like. As for myself, NO, I would not buy a condo to live in in a gay area. Sorry, I believe in free speech and have never been a politically correct person.

I agree 100% with you Gary , the point i was trying to make was you don't have to be gay to live in a gay area , i lived in Yensabai condotel for over two years which is right next to Sunee plaza which is a predominantly gay area and i had no issues with that whatsoever , during the time i lived there i met some of my neighbours who turned out to be great guys that i now regard as good friends and the fact that they are gay does not make any difference to me whatsoever , they are what they are , and i am a whore monger , simple as that.....!

Quite simply, it is better if you don't feel you are living in a gay area.

Why the fuck do I need to know someone's sexual orientation? If I go to the beach near my condo, and some male propositions me sexually, then I would rather live some place else.

I agree with you guys. I actually have some gay friends but they know how to act in public.

I lived in that area when I first moved here years ago. Had to move out. Getting hit up when going for a walk or the beach, even at the KFC that use to be on the corner back then. I would say no thankyou. But seeing old men kissing & playing with young thai boys in the lifts & at the pool etc, was way too much for me. But each to their own I guess.

I too think it s disgusting. Freedom to do what you want is fine by me but that is still disgusting in my eyes. Take a walk down that beach and see what is going on and if you are a normal male you will be offended. Am I homophobic? Probably.
