Good day all

I am flying into Pattaya next week and assuming the curfew is still in place.

My flight arrives late - about 1am, and I would like to know if there is anything I can do to pick up a warm companion after I arrive at about 3am.

Are any FLs present at all before the 5am curfew end, or am I better to sleep for a bit, then head out after 5 ?

Are there many girls heading out to Beach road at this time perhaps ?

I am not a cheap charlie, but I realise that all bars/gogs will be closed and was asuming In would have to get a FL even before the curfew began.

I guess I don't mind waiting 2 hours to 5am, but only if there is anything worth waiting for.

Thanks for any on the ground input

Anyone has any news on how the JP bar operates during the curfew?

It was closed early Monday morning.

No surprised in that:

Its customers are mainly people coming from discos when they close,

and as now discos don't open at night...

I suppose you could give these a call,if you are desperate. I am not sure if they are even open.

I'd have my driver drive down Beach Rd before I checked into my hotel.

Personally I'd hit the sack for a few hours and then have a shower and a visit to Soi half dozen in the afternoon.

However, if you are really in need of some lovely, smooth brown Asian skin to rub against in the wee hours, then I'd contact the Devils Den and put forward a request. They are and have been open during the curfew, observing the times correctly.

The hours of curfew seem to be changing day to day. Next week is a long time yet, a bit of unrest and it could be back to full curfew, no trouble and the curfew could be over. Best to check nearer the time IMO.

I don't know how any of you guys are in the mood to do much of anything when you first arrive. I always just stay in Bangkok for the first few days to recuperate from the 27 hour travel time from the USA. By the time I get to Thailand, I'm worthless. I tried to go out immediately, the first time I went to Thailand, but it didn't go so well. Almost pick pocketed by a ladyboy and then when I finally did barfine a girl, I was too tired to do much of anything.

In any event, I can't imagine a situation in Pattaya where you couldn't find a girl at any hour of the day or night. Or, what about hiring one of the limosine serves that are run by some of the bars? Not only can you order a limo, you can order a girl or two for company. They'll prick you up at the airport.

Devils Den offer this (fuck me I sound like a DD Sales Rep) but it is not cheap. however, like all Devils Den experiences, it's one you won't forget and one whch will leave your balls drained. More than once.

Funny that you say that, because this morning a BG got in the lift when I went out. She had a pretty face, but a bit chubby for me. She was a living dead though, sleeping standing up ;) . 6am is a bit early to left though...?

I caught one with 6ft legs coming out of the Mercure once and asked her 'did you finish your work yet'?

After an instant of confusion she said 'yes, finish work now, go home!'......

Perhaps your chubby girl got chucked out... :D

Ha well I have done that a few years ago in BKK, was going down the hotel lift out to prowl and a nice TG pops in one floor down, we smiled and were at it before the lift hit ground :D

I have just read that the curfew does not apply to tourists, so I may take a wander down and have a quick look around (leave wallet etc in hotel of course), only take some baht and copy of passport. My flight is not that long so will not be as shattered as some.

Good idea. So tourists can go to bars & restaurants,

but they find them closed as Thai have to respect the curfew... ;)

What else did you read ?

LOL.

Thought of this thread when I saw that story...lots of undesirables in those arrested. I doubt I'd want to pick from that group.

Yes, the curfew seems to be having the opposite effect than that planned.

Well I arrived last night and had no problems getting to Pattaya from Airport at 1am.

Did not see a single soldier anywhere ! But it was very dark so may have missed them.

It was rather eery flying over BKK and seeing almost deserted roads but around the airport is busy as is the road to Pattaya but not enough to slow us down. Pattaya was a hopping place at 3am with lots of girls on Walking St and not so many customers.
