I look for reasons to change from my usual airport to Pattaya taxi. I fail to see any reason to change.

Thank you for your comment. (^___^)

Make the flag a little bigger to change the site's language.

For Pattaya, do you include areas outside of central Pattaya, ie Soi Khao Noi, near the lake, Jomtiem, North Pattaya etc?

Are you using your own drivers and vehicles or simply passing bookings on?

What type and age of vehicles do you use for 2/3 seats?

I'm in Bkk meeting a mate at the airport tonight. We're coming back to Pattaya on Monday to miss all the water..... More at his request than mine. He's only got one good eye and was blinded by powder last year. Anyhow we have a taxi booked for the return Trying out Ikkrang's lady driver....

However yesterday I came up using one if the white vans from Pattaya tai.

10 baht from Jomtien to Pattaya ..... 99 baht for mini van to Victory Monument..... 34 baht sky train to Nana. 143 baht.!!

Left Pattaya at 7am in my hotel room 9.15 .

That's not a fair price..... How they make money I don't know.

Only 5 passengers aboard!!!

Amazing Thailand!

Rates are included of the express way, will not be charged any further.

For the convenience of the customer journey, please trust our service. :D

Customers should not have to specify in the booking form that they want a driver with a white board with their name on it (note it says they do have to do this).

That needs to be standard, or how do they find one person and car in the zoo that is the arrivals area?

My experience of 'white vans' is not 'only 5 aboard', more 'room for another'

Had we not stopped for gas, (literally .. we all had to get out and stand in the heat), I think he might have made it in 20minutes such was the way he drove. Plus I had visions of bursting into flames for the duration of the trip. Considering the near 40 degree heat in Bangkok these days I would pay more for a car.

Maybe I was lucky the van was old but had a good air con. Also I'd had this company's vans recommended to me as being driven sensibly by their drivers.

However the seat belts just went over the lap and so were pretty useless... A big complaint but the only one I could make.

Sorry for lately reply

Fortuner from Suvarnabhumi go to Pattaya 1500 THB. it's price only one way :D :D

I do not see the point of booking your taxi from Survanabhumi....looking for the driver, where has he /she parked/ waiting/waiting...when the standard taxi rank price to Pattaya is the same 1500 baht.

The last 2-times i have come out the terminal and got straight in the taxi and no need to wait.

Now you press the machine and get an automatic ticket to the taxi rank number.

Surely you need to be competitiveto get business????

This is one of the great theological debates which does not have a right answer. With the outfit I book with, finding the driver has not been an issue. YMMV. Also, I have some assurance the driver will know how to get to my destination in Pattaya. After a 20 hour trip, I do well to remember my own name. Getting to the taxi stand, getting a taxi and communicating my destination is more than I what I want to deal with.

Not criticizing your preference, just explaining why some of us might not share it.

I used to book a taxi from Mr. T, but after a missed/absent driver (or two), and al the other times finally finding the driver and having to shlepp my luggage to the parking garage, I find it's much easier, as InternationalTraveler says, to just go to the taxi stand and hire a ride there.

Unlike MGDN, I have no problem guiding the driver to my destination, so it's not an issue at all.

I do hire a driver to go to Swampy, but now just take any old taxi on arrival to go home.

I pay 1200 baht to Pattaya - 1200 back to Swampy, I know where the driver will be waiting and he already knows where I am going in Pattaya. They have never disappointed me in at least ten trips.
